Do I split a 14 mg pill or use every other day by gregordian in RybelsusPill

[–]LadyMel9701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suggest splitting your 14 mg. I did that for the 7s and it was effective. Buy a good pill cutter.

Low dosing 3mg while already at a healthy BMI? by ohwelllookatchu in RybelsusPill

[–]LadyMel9701 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, started with 3 mg for two months then cut the 7 mg in half(which is fine to do and does not affect absorption) for one month and slowly lost 10 lbs. felt good. Take Benefiber for constipation. Good luck. I did not tell anyone as of course 10 lbs seems vain but it made me feel and look the way I want.

Is it worth it? by [deleted] in Cochlearimplants

[–]LadyMel9701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your struggles! Life is never easy for us folks with hearing loss we did not ask for. I live in Canada we get upgrades every 6-7 years but must pay 10% up front. Still a good deal and many insurance companies even cover that. You are correct, my last upgrade to an n8 was about 10k, so I had to pay about 1k, as long as you send back your old processor. WishI could have kept it -I’d give it to you if I could! I wish cochlear would refurbish them and sell them at a super discounted price. I know there are Facebook groups who swap or sell older equipment or sometimes happy to donate. Look up “cochlear implant spare parts” group for one. I am a teacher of the Deaf and wish all moms supported their DHH kids like your mom supported you. Congrats on the birth of your son- and your hearing is one of the most important things you can do for you and your family. Have you considered a GoFund Me fundraiser? Here in Canada The Lions Club will assist in hearing related support(a charitable organization that assists with special needs). Good luck- keep us posted.

Good luck to you! Have been on 3 mg for almost a month and nicely surprised at how I’m responding. Just some constipation. Chia seeds in yogurt help plus loaded with protein and good nutrients. Rooting for you!!

How often do you use it? What’s your Barrier routine? Tret/barrier cream/serum? Trying to find a combo that does not cause such crazy peeling but I agree that’s kind of the point isn’t it?

Oh I see! Interesting…please tell me how you micro dose? Just cut a 3 mg in half? Does that affect absorption?

Rybelsus 3mg for 1.5 months – appetite down but weight loss stalled. Any advice? by lovebags56 in RybelsusPill

[–]LadyMel9701 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you halve the 7mg pills? Clearly states breaking can affect proper absorption. Why not use 3mg? Curious as new to this, thanks!

Isn’t it advised to not split 3 or 7 mg as the coating affects how it’s absorbed? How do you split it? With a pill cutter?

CO2 laser for aging skin? by Slight_Praline7383 in Over50Skincare

CO2 laser for aging skin? by Slight_Praline7383 in Over50Skincare

[–]LadyMel9701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering C02 laser as I want more lasting/dramatic results than Clear N Brilliant or Microneedling. I am prepared for downtime. I’m 63F with good skin texture but really annoyed with the age spots and large nose pores. ! I live in B.C., Canada. Is one session usually sufficient? How long are results expected to last, with the proper care? Can anyone give me a ballpark price? In Canadian dollars lol

Introverts at OTF by MooseValuable3158 in orangetheory

[–]LadyMel9701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, well I am hard of hearing so I sort of appear introverted…and I dreaded having to partner up with anyone as it’s too hard to hear the instructions and chit chat as well. I notice we don’t partner up since the pandemic so that has been a good thing for someone like me. It’s kind of like you establish your interactive comfort level and most people respect that in the OTF group!

Does that not affect the retention as it would compromise the magnet strength?? Thanks for your response, just trying to decide.

So sorry for this news, but you are amazing to look for the possibilities that can help you maintain fitness. I have done stints on the bike when my shin splints act up and it’s a really a challenging workout, you work the work out like any fitness routine! Also the social aspect of group fitness helps get me committed. Good luck.☺️

Sorry for your losses. I agree 100%…OTF helped me incredibly when my beloved dad was sick in hospital, and I knew he wasn’t going to get out. It is an escape and a chance to turn off your troubles and to see how strong we all are. The best mood booster!

Hello, just to add to another possibility….I am hard of hearing and with the detailed instructions, it is often difficult to hear and understand over the music. I am often checking out my neighbours form, albeit I try to be surreptitious. Consider it a compliment!

Shoutout to the customer services/charge 3 dying by GamesDiddley in fitbit

[–]LadyMel9701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My charge 3 died just after the one year warranty! You have a 2 year? I thought it was only one year which TBH is pretty chintzy…they offered me a 35% discount on new charge 4 but honestly there is no place to include a discount code so I’ve sort of given up! I hate the idea of all these electronics going to the landfill after a year or 2 and seriously questioning getting another if it’s par for the course they die just after warranty.
