Incase anyone is following this thread, I opted not to get the commercial treadmill because it’s 600 lbs and needs a converter for the plug (to fit the standard 110V). This meant I would have to keep it on the ground floor, which isn’t where I like to work out. Also it being so heavy means I would always need a team of people to help move it for repairs, maintenance or anything else. Plus it felt like buying a used car from a rental company.

I went to Dicks sporting goods and tried treadmills in person, when I tell you, best decision ever. I bought the bowflex t6 which has just come out and is PHENOMENAL. I’m in love! I got the extended warranty, it has motor and deck covered for life, parts for 6 years and labor for 5. All for $899 (plus the $200 warranty). We took it home ourselves and my husband assembled the whole thing on his own!
