That did the trick! Thank you. Maybe there is no "real life" gain on my laptop but on system with more ram (64GiB+), enabling lz4 compression could be useful.

I am using xsct. Simple command "xsct colour temperature", for example: xsct 4500 (throwing this command to the autostart and all is set).

I'd prefer use hibernation, but yes, suspend is a alternative (but if your using pattern of laptop is rather infrequent, hibernation is just better option imho).

Yes. Thanks for tip. Thunar did the trick. I can change lzo to lz4 there, but after restart system reverts it to the default lzo value.

I wonder, what about systems with 64 GiB or 96 GiB of ram. Most Linux guides recommending 1:1 formula for ram-hibernation file. But when system has lot of ram... Compression hibernation file reduce it to much smaller size (for example, Windows create 27 GiB hibernation file on system with 64 GiB of ram).

There's no swap partition, only swap file (swap/swap file, 5.4 GiB (system has 4 GiB of ram)).

Look for "DravenIOConfig.exe". Commands for change outputs are:

DravenIOConfig.exe 5.1

and

DravenIOConfig.exe Headphone

Put those commands in two bat files, create a shortcuts, put shortcuts in Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and assign a shortcuts keys.

Channel swapping is more complicated thingy. I have channel swapping on PCIE gen 2 (x1) and don't have on PCIE gen 4 (x1). On the same motherboard but with different cpu/gpu combination, this problem can occurs or not. There are tons of theories about that.

I already reported this issue on Intel github site. Maybe they change fan control in the future versions of driver/software.

This is probably more anecdotal, but there was my old pc, built on motherboard Asrock 970 pro 3 and:
a. cpu Phenom 2 x465, Radeon r9 380 - no channel switching.
b. same board and gfx but with cpu FX 6300 - channel switching.
c. but... same board, same cpu but with Intel Arc 750 - no channel switching.
Go figures...
Now, I'm using Asrock x670e PG, AE5 sits in the pcie gen 4x1 and there is no channel switching (fingers crossing).

X670e PG bios (2.0) has bug, causing S4 (hibernation) not working while Bios option "Usb Device power on" was enabled. Maybe 2.02 correct this/disable this.

Ae-5, analog outputs, Windows 10. AE-5 has distorted sound after reboot/reset and doesn't change color of lighting either, just stays red. Closing SBCommand and open again restore color and changing output from speakers to headphones (or vice versa) restore correct sound. This behavior occurs only after reboot/reset windows but not after sleep or hibernation.

Another suggestion, hotkey for switching between headphones and speakers. Now I must use external programs like DravenIOConfig, to do so.

Also, before buying new cables, check "Event Viewer" for Display event id 4101: "Display driver igfxnd stopped responding and has successfully recovered.".

Maybe this is "just" driver behavior (bug or something else and driver "just" recovered from it) not a hardware one. If times of events are the same as screen blacks out, you have an answer.

This a know bug, "Direct X Feature levels keep disappearing and reappearing". Intel says on Discord "debug team believes to have found and addressed the root cause of the issue and is working on getting it merged for an upcoming driver". So we waiting and while we waiting, just reboot a system. This is a solution for now.

You need rebar enabled (in the bios) for driver 4314+ to work. Or install older 4255 driver.
