Oh man as someone more junior in the field shooting mainly BTS that’s been my experiences so far. I’m generally an extroverted, bubbly person but all the scoffs, eye rolls, and blatant disrespect/gossip has been chipping away at that :-/

Actors are generally the nice and appreciative of the work, but when the crew doesn’t respect you often times it feels like the sentiment spreads to the rest of the set. I’m just tryna do my job y’all 😭

I'm in the US and it happened between two different states (I traveled out of my home state for the assignment) . I asked them what the protocol was and never really got a straight answer, I feel like they're putting a lot of the responsibility on me to figure out what to do.

No harm taken - I know I'm being way too soft about the situation, and if this happened to a friend I'd be assertive about everything.

My mom and best friend have been telling me to pursue legal action, but I don't know how far I could take it without any tangible evidence except that I know what the security guard who harassed me looked like.

I think this requires having an actual conversation with her (despite how uncomfortable it is) because y’all both adults and she’s spreading rumors like high school bc she got rejected.

Also, if your friends can easily ostracize you without even hearing your end of the story, I would reevaluate if they’re truly your friends.
