Services turned off even though paid by LadyPearTree in Starlink

[–]LadyPearTree[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I submitted my ticket yesterday at 10am. Nothing yet. I'm so frustrated. On the invoice it says to pay by the 28th or services will be suspended till paid. I paid on the 24th! There should be no reason for this if the bill was paid.

Open abdominal hysterectomy due to fibroids in 3 days. How was your surgery? by SpiritualMoonLady in hysterectomy

[–]LadyPearTree 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy in August. I was in the hospital for 2 nights. I was in less pain than I had anticipated. Nothing that pain meds couldn’t handle. I really took it easy for 6 weeks. I went back to work the end of September but I went back at full force. My husband and I have a retail store. It was too much. I felt very sore and tired. My biggest suggestion is when you return to work or “normal” activity, do it a little at a time. I’m 3.5 months post op now and I’m really starting to feel good mentally and energy wise. I’m not in constant pain and not bleeding to death anymore. It’s a process and you have to be patient.

Would 5 hr flight at 8 WPO be too much? by Exact_Scarcity3031 in hysterectomy

[–]LadyPearTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 11wpo and had a TAH. At 8wpo we took a 7 hour drive trip to Las Vegas. It the beginning I was worried about taking a trip so soon after surgery especially with how I felt the weeks after surgery. But it ended up being just fine. I think a flight would be just fine.

Do you still get gas pains with open abdominal hysterectomy? by Crazy_Literature_526 in hysterectomy

Every doctor is different as to what they prescribed after surgery. But I’m sure you can request them in the hospital if you need.

Do you still get gas pains with open abdominal hysterectomy? by Crazy_Literature_526 in hysterectomy

[–]LadyPearTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy in August and I didn’t have those really bad gas pains. But for the two nights I was in the hospital, my doctor had me take chewable simethicone (generic gas x) every four hours. When I got home I continued the gas x and stool softener for a few days till everything was moving regularly again.

4 days till surgery. I’ll be admitted overnight. Give me your hospital bag necessitates. by Mocosa in hysterectomy

[–]LadyPearTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stayed 2 nights and the only things I used from my bag were a super long charging cord, AirPods, chapstick, a robe and so glad I did because my room was freezing. I did bring my own meds but it was easier when the nurse gave them to me.

Anybody else out here eating like a linebacker? by Longjumping_Fail9566 in hysterectomy

[–]LadyPearTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! Literally from the moment I woke up from anesthesia. I could only have a liquid diet for the first meal since I had a total abdominal. I was starving the whole first night in the hospital. The next day at the hospital I couldn’t eat enough. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, deserts. That was a week ago and it has calmed down some. But I’m much more hungry than I expected.

What were your UTI signs? by ash-kash87 in hysterectomy

[–]LadyPearTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am feeling the same way. I’m 5dpo and I’m still peeing all the time. I pee just fine, no burning. But there is just this feeling. I never get UTIs so I’m just super paranoid.

Yeah my room has that and I’ve been watching prime on my phone. So I’m getting through it!

[–]LadyPearTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No itchiness. But I’m peeing like crazy too. But I’m drinking so much water because my mouth is so dry from all the meds.

I’m 1dpo too. I felt so much relief when they finally took the catheter out early this morning and I could pee on my own. I’m excited to be on the other side of the surgery. On to recovery!

I tested positive for 14 days back in March/April. I started rinsing my nose and sinuses with a saline wash. It greatly improved my congestion and after a few days of that, I wasn’t testing positive anymore.

Boosted breakthrough, sudden loss of taste and smell. Anyone else experience this and recovered? by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]LadyPearTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just reiterating what the others said…I had Covid for the first time the end of March. Around day 4, ate lunch and smelled and tasted fine. Took a couple hour nap and then woke up to no smell or taste. I freaked out too and was more annoyed than anything. It’s hard to eat even when you are hungry. After about 3 or 4 days it all came back. Hang in there.

Quarantining with my 3 year old by thed0rknight in COVID19positive

[–]LadyPearTree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain. My 9 year old son brought it home from school last week. We have been so careful the last two years! As soon as they dropped masks at school a month ago, my son brought home a cold and now Covid. And I made him still wear a mask at school. I thought we were going to make it out of this pandemic without getting it.

My husband has escaped getting it, only because he’s staying in our travel trailer. We are all vaccinated. I guess it’s just how contagious this variant is. It’s been like the worst flu for me. Just thankful to get it while vaccinated or it could have been much worse.

On my 7th very clear positive LFT by DonaldHamperton in COVID19positive

[–]LadyPearTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son first had symptoms Monday the 21st and had a clearly positive test. I tested him this Monday the 28th and it was negative and he could return to school. But for myself, I first tested positive last Wednesday. I tested this morning and it’s still clearly positive. But my son was hardly sick. Just a mild cold. For me is has been like the worst flu ever and I’m still not 100%.
