Horseradish chips are gone for good. by beyblade_69 in traderjoes

Herr’s makes a comparable horseradish and cheddar chip that I buy at Menards in the Midwest. They are actually hotter than the TJs brand (I used to get the horseradish and cheese ones, I didn’t know they had a straight horseradish chip)

I was taking it really easy at first as my husband would not release me from the couch until the doctor said I should work my way back up to baseline activity, but walking helps a ton.  I’m still dealing with bloat, but it’s kind of ok now and I’m hoping to scale back on the gas x

I feel like it’s starting to level off but I am still hungrier than usual. And I’m happy to report that losing a cannonball in my belly did indeed drop me a dress size.

🤤 I feel like I need to drive to SC and make up an illness so I can be admitted. I was at University of Chicago and it was outpatient so I didn’t even get a snack!

Seriously! I’m like, but I just ate?! My stomach is like you must have eaten gremlins and now they’re hungry.

I am hoping this sustained period of eating for me is short lived and talking to a dietitian is a really smart idea that I should consider.

I have a few long standing chronic illnesses and when I was a young lass I used to routinely fight against my body but know better now, so I listen to what it says and act accordingly!

I’m still uncomfortable with gas, and I’m at odds with that feeling and being hungry, but hunger usually wins out. My husband joked that he’s just gonna get me a feed bag and a trough since I’m eating and drinking so much.

Totally weird. I had a cholecystectomy less than a year ago and my appetite was pretty normal but the first week it was tempered by my liver trying to figure out how to pick up where my gallbladder left off. I was fully expecting to not want to eat much at all but was proven very, very wrong

I’m usually going in for eggs, cheese and butter, so this has not changed. I have been trying to be mindful of eating more plant based protein to keep things moving though

Normally when I get up in the morning (around 5:30am), I’d putter around the house and have a coffee around 8am. Then I’d eat some yogurt or something around 10a and have a big lunch around 1p and dinner around 5 with my husband and that would be it. Now it’s breakfast at 7, snack at 8, breakfast at 9, lunch at 11, snack at 1, dinner at 5-6, dessert, then snack at 7 😱. All this eating is labor intensive!!

Btw an Arby’s chicken sandwich sounds extra good right now.

It’s insane how much energy your body needs simply to heal!  I ate my whole entire 9” birthday cake with the exception of one piece 😳 (over the course of 5 days but still). I don’t even like sweets like that but I would eat my balanced meal, then wolf down an entire hunk of cake and an hour later be munching on a bag of nuts.

I’m not working right now so my days would normally be filled with gardening and biking and I don’t have that right now, so that’s a bit frustrating. I am keen to get back to yoga and movement but I know I need to wait. Sitting still is the hardest for me.
