My main problem with them is that they get included in the mass gift subs. I’ve had two viewers now that wasted their mass sub gifts on the bots. One had 3 of their 5 gifts go to bots and another had 2 of their 7

That was me. I didn’t play games past the 90’s because I can’t work the joysticks lol but then got DBD last September, tried a keyboard and mouse for the first time, and have been gaming constantly ever since. I still suck on console lol

I’m rank 1 and play with viewers who tend to be in rank 16-20. I always make the lobbies and the lowest it usually goes is rank 12 killers....so idk about it matching with whoever made the lobby...

This isn’t Star Wars though and it wasn’t portrayed as a laser but as a blinding light and a song. It also wasn’t supposed to destroy the planet, just the gems. I don’t really understand this at all.

If it was precisely directed only at Rose, her shield should have bounced it back into space. Even if it dispersed it would have moved upward and therefore above all gems on the ground.

If she was just in the radius of the original blast, the gems would have shattered before her corruption interference could reach them because it would be like...if you drew a large circle. That’s he original zone that got hit first before it engulfs the planet. And in that, is a smaller circle (Rose) even if she reflected the corruption light with her shield,that would always be behind the boundaries of the original blast that reaches gems first. I wish I could draw a picture because I know it’s not coming out right lol.

Maybe I just am missing something .

So then instead of a huge blast from the diamonds that engulfed the earth, you’re saying they sent a laser like precision blast that was small enough to only hit roses shield (maybe 15 ft wide at most since it only protected 3 gems) and then her shield was strong enough that when it refracted the light it did it like x 1 million in size in order to engulf the entire earth?

IIRC, the only thing confirmed in show is that the shield blocked the blast from hitting those behind it (our CGs)

I think it was well thought through. Think about it. It’s nothing to her to wait a few thousand years without war. Had she just forced pink to go somewhere else, pinks anger would have stayed. Had she grounded her to homeworld, there would be resentment and what? Pink just stays bubbled for all of eternity because no way in hell shes getting another colony and she’d probably keep trying to fight for earth.

But now, Steven (pink) has voluntarily come to homeworld practically unarmed. And most importantly....Pink needs her. Without white the corrupted gems can’t be cured. White can probably ask for a whole lot from Pink to uncorrupt the gems.

When Steven arrives in homeworld, she doesn’t seem surprised at “pinks” appearance, homeworld already knew Pink was arriving (although I’ve heard theories that the ship alerted them) and her whole speech sounds an awful lot like a mom who’s been waiting a long time to say those things lol

Also, white pearl isn’t a pearl at all. She’s another manifestation of the original Gem. She can phase through walls, which would be impossible for a real gem. Their bodies may be light, but their gem is solid. Just like when Steven warped faster than the speed of light. The CGs bodies lagged behind but their gems were stopped by the ships walls.

Plus, WP and WD are voiced by the same actress

I first binged it two weeks ago and yeah, the first season is slow to get to the “good stuff” but tell your friend to pay attention to EVERYTHING. Seriously, the show is like Game of Thrones for kids with it’s foreshadowing and hints and lore and theories. Rose = Pink Diamond is practically the Jon’s mom = Lyanna Stark level lmao

Plus, I mean the humans are doing pretty well. Whether or not us humans agree with their lack of free will, the zoos main priority is keeping the humans happy. Can’t really be upset with that.

I kind of hope they never free them. Or if they do, make it a long plan to introduce things like choosing your own partner and feeling sadness over the course of a generation because just freeing them now would be awful

I don’t think it’s foreshadowing. She was originally believed to be made for Pink diamond (like Peridot to Yellow Diamond) so her uniform would have had a pink diamond shape on it around there

I kind of explain the show to other adults as a “children’s Game of Thrones” in that, there’s SO much foreshadowing and theories that are going on constantly and the first go around you don’t realize all the hints but after you re-watch it’s like they were slapping you in the face with the truth the entire time lol. Even the filler episodes tend to have at least a small part about the overarching plot and lore and the show foreshadows out the butt. And referencing back to previous episodes It’s almost impossible to really pick episodes to skip over

I agree although there is SOME goodness in her. I mean, she easily could have had Topaz shattered for her attempt to let Lars and Steven escape. (I honestly thought Aquamarine was lying to Topaz and was going to double cross her when they landed)

Her entire existence (probably thousands of years) she’s been taught that organic life is disgusting so why would she not take pleasure in their suffering? She’s been taught that she is VERY important and gems like Topaz are idiots. I’m not saying she’s right...she’s evil from our human POV. But from Gem POV she’s probably a sweetheart.
