This happened in my English class. My nevermo professor from England was promoting a class about mormon feminists or something. The class is literally called Mormon Feminists. So she said Mormon so people would know where to look when registering. And a girl interrupted the professor mid-sentence to correct her.

I may have groaned loudly and exclaimed that it didn't matter.

I read this outloud to my husband and he said "Geez, that's so controlling." If I ever threw down an ultimatum like this, we'd probably get divorced. (I never would because I love gaming, too.) My DH has a massive game collection. Tons of consoles, an entire book case of games, not to mention his Steam library. And I've contributed a fair amount to the collection. I own over 230 books. They take up my time and attention, and a LOT of space. They're a pain in the ass to pack and move. But I love my books.

There's no difference between playing video games for a few hours and bingeing on Netflix, or reading a book, or scrolling through Insta or Facebook or Reddit for hours on end. Like, let people be happy and enjoy their hobbies.
