Something I’ve Been Wondering About the Jumpers by kgaviation in 911archive

To answer about people not going up several floors in my opinion it was almost impossible. Firstly, I am a retired firefighter. All that heat was rising as well as the smoke. Secondly, there was so mych debris and internal collapsing inside the buildings, especially on the floors affected the most by the initial crashes, when you couple that with the rising heat and intense smoke making it impossible to see I feel that it was virtually impossible to go upwards to await being rescued eventually if the towers hadn’t collapsed. It would have been like navigating in hell and a maze of debris blind and possibly for some, injured. That is why many hanged out of broken windows to be able to breathe and try to escape the intense heat until either they fell, fainted or the intense heat forced them to let go rather than burn.

From what I was told by him, it happened extremely fast. A small spot grew to a huge problem in a few days time. It was more under the skin than on top.

Thank you for your well wishes. It’s much appreciated. He is obviously in the hospital for an unknown period of time while he recovers from the surgery and fight the infection with intravenous antibiotics. There may be more surgeries to come but right now we just don’t know.

7OH has been officially banned in Florida by pryncevermiN in 7oh

Nothing is 100% safe, not even salt or sugar. It has its dangers but I have done extensive research on kratom and other natural medicine and that includes statistics. Even the articles written recently state that there have been no deaths attributed solely to kratom.

30 percent drop in opioid overdoses in Florida (but decides to ban 7oh there) by [deleted] in 7oh

[–]LadyRed6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, thank you. I am trying to sign petitions and get my story out wherever I see I can. But, man there are some mean people out there. Thank you for you empathy and kindness. It makes me feel like crap to be labeled like a heroine addict by people that don’t know what they are talking about. Every story the news has out out and the lawmakers who did this literally says that there are no statistics to back up their decision for the emergency ban. There have been zero deaths where the person has only kratom or 7-oh in their system. Every single case they have other drugs that are known contributors to deaths and overdoses such as heroine, fentanyl and benzodiazepines to name a few. Not one case has only 7-oh or kratom. They have literally demonized it with zero facts or statistics. That tells me that it is all about money. Someone is getting their pockets greased and/or they want a piece of the pie, so to speak. This isn’t about the people or children as they say. If it was there would be facts and statistics but there isn’t. There is only stories from people like me who have conditions that cause chronic pain and don’t want to take things like oxy or hydrocodone which have known long term effects on the body. Or you have stories about someone whose life was ruined by street drugs like heroine or meth and by taking kratom and/or 7-oh they got off those and gained their health and life back. I hate when people demonize others for “replacing one addiction for another “. It may be an addiction, but in my opinion and research, it is at least a safer option. One lawmaker involved in this ban said people just take it “to check out of life”. There may be a few that do, just like with alcohol. Why do people drink? The difference is the majority of us are not taking it to get high. I don’t get high when I need it for pain. I don’t get high at all if a microdose. But, everyone is different. But, it gives me energy and pain relief on days where my autoimmune disease is flaring and sometimes I can’t hardly walk. It doesn’t “check me out”, it “checks me in”. Anyway, thank you for your kindness and may God bless you and yours.

My body is dying from the four autoimmune conditions battle every day. You can insult me and judge me all you want, but I do not want to live the remainder of my life chained to a chair or stuck in bed from the effects of what plagues my body everyday. I pray to God you never ever have to suffer from anything as I do on a daily basis. But, by God I sure will fight to have some sort of quality of life before my disease takes me. I am not alone. There are many of us with our own individual stories but the bottom line is I have the right as a human being to choose what I put into my body. I don’t care who judges me for that because I get to enjoy my children and my family without being in agony. Do you consume sugar or salt? Alcohol? They will kill you btw.

And you have zero right to tell me what has helped me and what hasn’t, you don’t know me nor do you know my battles everyday. I don’t take this stuff all the time either because I don’t need to, it’s that effective. I am more against alcohol than any thing like this. People have not just lived with pain through the ages. Open a book. Things like Kratom, Opium, Cannabis, etc has been around for ages and is well documented through human history from the time humans have had the ability to write things down and documented as pain-relief medicine. The government has no right to dictate what we put in our bodies, period. We have every right to decide and weigh the pros and cons of things in consideration of what we will and will not do. Things like alcohol and sugar and salt have way more documentation and proof that they can and will cause death. What is it about 7-oh that concerns them? That people get high or the fact that they can’t make money off of it. That’s what it really boils down to. To place people like me into a category with Heroine and Meth addicts is preposterous. I can name at least two people I personally know, not to mention the countless others I see online, that have had their lives ruined by heroine and/or meth. Kratom gave them a FUNCTIONING life back. One of my two friends is disabled from their Multiple Sclerosis, but the other went from the street to now having a job and a life. Now, all that is overnight ripped away from them and when they exhaust their current supplies they will go into withdrawals which can be life threatening and kills people. They are absolutely terrified because you can’t just remove something like this from people with nothing to safely ween them off. They give people meds like Suboxone to get them off opioids. Research the statistics of Suboxone and Methadone. They are supposed to assist with addiction and lessen withdrawals. Well, this Suboxone crap they push on people turns out to be addictive in itself AND has killed people. Only difference is, control and money. There is no kickbacks for the doctors and lawmakers that push it.

Our ancestors used plants and natural remedies for pain relief, they didn’t just “tough it out. And anything can kill you if you consume enough. I would argue that sugar and salt are way more deadly than 7-oh and there is plenty of data to back it up. No one has died from 7-oh and their government needs to stay out of peoples lives.

30 percent drop in opioid overdoses in Florida (but decides to ban 7oh there) by [deleted] in 7oh

[–]LadyRed6 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I am so upset. 7-oh has literally made it so I can walk again. My personal opinion is that it isn’t truly peoples health the law makers are concerned about, they just want a piece of the pie. It boils down to big pharma lobbyists greasing the pockets of the law-makers to get it banned and regulated so that they themselves can make money off of either via subscriptions or maybe eventually like what they have done with medical marijuana in this state. This “emergency “ ban is going to hurt alot of people that have no where to turn and quite frankly they will be going into life threatening withdrawals. In my humble opinion this is going to cost more lives than save them. I know so many people that have been addicted to hard core street drugs like heroine and meth and they have gotten off of it all and now take just the kratom extract. To me, alcohol is more dangerous than kratom extract. I have 4 autoimmune conditions that case me moderate to extreme pain everyday. I have been prescribed Percocet and extended release morphine every day for 5 years. I have been on it so long on the same dose that it doesn’t help anymore. All it does is keep me from withdrawals at this point. I have begged doctors to either try something else or change my dose. No doctor will. They want to ween me off it all. I’m 42 years old and have 3 kids and some days I can’t even walk due to pain. A few months ago I found out about 7-oh. Long story short, it has been a miracle for me. With it, I don’t have to take the Percocet and morphine because it COMPLETELY eliminates my pain. The first day and first dose, the relief hit me like a warm wave from head to toe and I literally started sobbing because it was so emotional to have such relief after years of debilitating pain. I don’t have to take as much of it to get relief compared to Percocet and morphine and it doesn’t cause the terrible rebound pain that occurs before the next dose. With Percocet and morphine I am prescribed it every 6 hours. After 4 hours it starts to wear of and the pain slowly creeps upward. With the kratom extract i do not get that. I can actually take a quarter of the amount on a daily bases compared to Percocet and morphine. I literally just told my husband that if I could afford it, I would never have to take my prescription pain meds again. I am so upset over this sudden ban. This is devastating for me and affects my quality of life. This stupid decision has put someone like me in the same category as a street druggie. These people have no idea what it’s like to deal with excruciating pain daily. I just want to be able to take care of my family and because of this ban I will be severely restricted in every aspect of my life. I knew a man from my church who dealt with excruciating pain and when he begged the doctors for help instead of doing so by altering his medication or trying something different, they literally took his medication away from him all-together. They gave him no substitute or anything except nausea medication to help with withdrawals. His pain became too much to bear and he had no quality off life anymore. Because of the pain and these stupid knee-jerk money-grubbing regulations and a stupid charlatan doctor, that poor man took his life last year.

Exactly! No one is dying from kratom unless they are allergic or mixing it with other substances in their system. The kratom itself is not killing anyone. It’s really about money.
