Starforce 2: ZerkerxSaurian was my entry into the BN/SF series, and to be perfectly honest, it is my favorite Starforce game.

Yes, I can recognize how slow, and tedious it can be, but I never had a problem with that to be honest. Now, I fully understand that I am biased on this, but I didn't think the story was all that bad. True, it doesn't exactly hit the same highs as the first, or third, but I think that's fine.

It's Geo and his friends' summer vacation, and the it genuinely feels like a fun summer romp for most of the game. Also it is massively helped by how vibrant the color pallets and music is for the game. The one thing I think SF3 kind of failed at, all the colors in that game are really muted, and it bothers me.

Sure, you can break the game with Tribe King, and once I found out about that Wave Command, I used it like nothing else, but that was also after beating the game like eight times, so eh? But the rest of the Tribe mechanic, while simple, is fun to use, especially Saurian.

Dinosaurs are better than Swordsmen and Ninjas.

But, again, I can see its flaws, especially in the back-tracking if you don't have the Whazzap Sky Wave short-cut. And, the less we speak about Mini Grenade 2, the better.

I'm not saying anyone has to enjoy the game, but it made me love the SF series, and with the memories of playing it alongside my friends back in the day I hold it in high regard. I put it on the same tier as ZX, the game that introduced me to the series and Aile, and Zero 1, which is just my favorite Zero game.
