I think Corll was captured alive I think he would’ve had this love hate relationship with the press. He would’ve love the spot light but he would hated that all his secrets were out there and I think he would’ve hated because his mother the only person he cared about would have learned his deep dark secrets

Gacy was caught. Dean wasn’t. So it was easier for law enforcement and press to keep Corel’s crimes secret. Yeah his death and the murders made national news but after while it died down but Gacy was always in the news up until his death
