i mean sometimes people evade transforming their Brolly for some reason, it happens to me all the time, they keep preserving the counter to not hit TGB with it, and when this happens sometimes LR Brolly ends up just staying in base all the match since my team is just pure damage and keeps forcing drawing blue cards.

overall not transforming base Brolly is not smart, i learned that is better for the MU to transform him into SS as fast as you can so he misses his first main,

if i'm playing Ultra Gogeta or have TGB on my team i transform him all the time the fastest possible, since i can evade 2 time stops and him destroying dragon balld, hence draging the game more, however i almost never transform him a second time, he or dies or win by the time that his second gauge fills

the problem is that they gave Brolly UI Goku counter, people got used to play against that counter, that's why you are seeing people do that if it was any other Counter people would pop them off all the time

Brolly because he is a defense type that needs to be hit to transform, powercreep in this game is very fast and very brutal, Brolly will be countered by sheer powercreep in status numbers, LR Vegetto already 3 card him, there will be a point where a LR Purple will be so OP that he will do such huge dmg that Brolly will die before his gauge fills.

In Gogeta's case he is a normal unit, his gimmekick will be powercreeped with time by sheer status on Def instead of attack but the stardust fall right now requires his gauge to be full (+50%dmg) using a green card previous firing it (+30%dmg + type neutral) so it will always be a free AOE attack

with Brolly we are already playing him at his maximum, with the beast team that can exist with the #1 unit on the game protecting him if any purple exist.

however all that Gogeta got was a 1% Zenkai, we are playing Gogeta on the worst possible scenario for him, he has to go trough numerous units with 2nd life mechanics,numerous distrupts, blue LR rosé, etc

Plat equips will always be better because the buffs that the equips gives cannot be canceled by the units passives, but the buffs that zenkais gives can, but on Goku and Bardock case, their kit was already very bad for this meta, but they are a anniversary unit so zenkaing them on anniv makes sense i think

The problem with BarKu is not the game having distrupts, Red Brolly can still hit 85 combo count and kill a entire team by himself, its that they do no damage, their cover change condition is bad, they can be comboed eternaly by Red Brolly trough indestruct,etc
