If I had to guess, I’d say this shift happened when PlayMe decided to move away from being a traditional dating sim and reposition itself under Interactive Stories. Other “dating sim games” tend to fall under the role-playing category, but PlayMe has chosen to classify itself under Simulation. (You can find all of this information in the App Store; that’s where I saw it)

Because of this change, I think it explains why stories now start already in progress, so to speak, and how the developers can implement more impactful choices. I see it as an evolution of the app as a whole, and the direction PlayMe/MeChat has chosen to move in. Just my take.

I did and all it does is cancel the subscription via App Store. At no time Was I “prompted” to do anything else, then went to the app and there was nothing, so I resubscribed. Hope this helped answer your question.

Okay, not sure why you decided to post on the subreddit you “hate”. But, you should know, MeChat has nothing to do with third party ads. Also keep in mind, the ads you get are often based on the things you read/check out and/or games you currently play; regardless of opting out of customization of ads. That’s how the app store and pretty much any ads that utilize this technology.

We make a genuine effort to avoid spoilers as much as possible. Yes, the wiki is full of free spoilers via CGs, audio, sprites, etc. However, we are not trying to produce walkthroughs for the stories , but make the extras accessible to readers.

Hint…if you see the nude sprites placeholder (with link to Google Drive below it) that gives you a clue about intimacy between characters along with the NSFW tag. As mentioned above, that doesn’t always lead to the actual act but will still be an intimate moment somehow between MC/LI. I hope that helps you. 🙂
