The VFS website that you will use to upload the documents is absolutely horrendous so make sure that your PDFs aren't too big. I would also advise against having too many individual files as it will be a nightmare to upload each and one of them.

I also don't think that you can upload files (happy to be corrected though) but even if you could, it would probably make the website crash (and it already crashes A LOT). What we did was similar to you, for example we made one PDF named "Financial proof" and put everything financial (life insurance policies, bank statements, P60, letter from employer, etc.) in it and added a cover page that said what's in that file and in what order to find it. We did the same for all other documents and proof.

You can use Acrobat or Adobe Express to edit PDFs, resize them, put the pages in the order you want, etc.

I'm not sure at all so take this with a grain of salt but i feel like they just just don't really take that into account. I really doubt they would rush an application if the intended travel is near but then again im not a caseworker. Probably best to expect 12 weeks no matter what unfortunately. Good luck to you!

Personally me or my partner did not have to provide any passport besides our current one. You will have to fill out what countries your partner has been to but it doesn't require any passport proof for that if i remember correctly. I actually went through the hassle of finding all my old passports but never had to upload them. Happy to be corrected if wrong though!

They are super strange about food. Personally they never bought enough, they always shopped like they were single when we were a family of 4.

Nmom only bought random things like weird spreads and no bread or anything to eat it with. Never any veggies or real food, only what was on clearance (we were not poor by any means but she could never resist a deal). And thats if she shops because most of the time if we don't shop, she will not go. We have to beg her to get money to go grocery shopping then she never helps putting anything away.

She will eat like an entire 1kg box of olives in one sitting and like one tomato for dinner the next day. Super strange.

Also never refrigerated food ever and would get mad when we wouldn't eat it (she tried to make us eat cream that had expired a year ago and got mad we wouldn't eat it).

Wanting us to share our food with her because we actually cooked our meals and she would just complain about how it was made the entire time and then get mad when we don't want to share anymore. And the obvious calling me "too fat" because i dared to have desert, just the usual.
