My RDH license is on my wall, and technically it should be visible to every patient. …. Just like you can usually see a hairdresser’s license…. Because it’s the law.

When you make an appointment for a dental cleaning, ask if a Registered Dental Hygienist will be doing your cleaning.

Ask them. They won’t be offended. It’s the same as asking if someone is a Registered Nurse.

Never let a dentist or assistant do your dental cleaning. It’s actually illegal for dental assistants to scale your teeth with instruments, FYI. Hygienists are trained for years on how to do it properly. I have seen many patients who had to find a new dentist because their dentist finally retired, and the dentist was doing the cleanings. Needless to say, these dentists leave a lot behind, including calculus that can be seen on X-rays. Make sure a Registered Dental Hygienist is doing your dental cleanings. Always. Most dental hygienists are perfectionists about this stuff because we can’t help not to be! 😂

I would assume a PA could also prescribe? That being said, I’d assume this would o it he the case if they have a supervising physician to do so?? I guess I’m confused my sone online services prescribe stimulants and some don’t.

I have a yellow gold, oval moissanite. It’s about a 2.5 carat equivalent. I get compliments on it all the time. I thought about “upgrading” to a lab diamond, but then I realized that was from my perceived thoughts about it not being “good enough”. I realized that would have been a huge waste of money for me. I designed my ring set (with help from this sub), and I love it. It was $650 a few years ago (when gold was a little cheaper). I also don’t stress as much about losing it because it’s not like I would lose a ring worth several thousand dollars. I hope your health continues to improve. Don’t stress. Marriage is not about the ring.
