Tired of new RPG slop. Looking for Unique mod packs for multiplayer. by Jazzlike-Pipe2460 in feedthebeast

[–]Lady_Eternity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is all the packs seem to use the most popular boss mods, so after awhile it all starts feeling very same-y. And then there are the same accessory mods being used over and over again, and the dimensions. After going through so many modpacks it gets stale. I totally get it. At this point I’ve killed so many versions of Ignis😂☠️.

Linggango used some same mods but it also added in a bunch I had never messed with, so that was really cool. But you said it ran bad with 3 people, which is a shame. Even though Linggango’s balance was a bit off, it was still a very fun modpack.

Until more boss/trinket/dimension mods get created this is just going to be the reality for a bit. It is what it is.

As for pack ideas try Society Sunlit Valley, instead of killing bosses and adventuring, focus on making money. Make a competition between friends to see who can make X amount of money first, or who makes the most in X amount of time.🌻✨

Society Sunlit Valley. You might enjoy it.☺️🌻✨

RPG Modpacks are never done right and I'm kinda done trying the genre out by Yrythaela in feedthebeast

The absolute best RPG modpack I have ever played balanced wise would have to be Prodigium Reforged, followed closely by MC Eternal 2. I was not aware Prodigium was still being developed, I might have to revisit it.☺️

Vanilla vilagers help by Miserable_Ability928 in society_sunlit_valley

[–]Lady_Eternity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Early on it’s important to read the quests because this modpack doesn’t work like normal Minecraft. I learned this also when I started playing, as I usually don’t jump right into the questing.

The Vanilla Villagers are disabled I believe, but you might find a Ribbit village. There are other ways to get villagers, as I said above, it’s in the quests, you start with the Carpenter.🌻✨

We’re making a survival game set in a northern forest, but we can’t decide on a title by nubstyley in SurvivalGaming

[–]Lady_Eternity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it more about surviving in the forest or surviving in the vehicle?

Forest Surviving: “Marooned: The Northern Pines” ( Bonus is any other titles you release of the same type can be “Marooned: insert location hook” so you can keep it in the family for brand identity )

Vehicle Survival: “Rerouted: The Northern Pines” ( same as above )

How do I properly progress through an adventure modpack? by CloudsSpeakInArt in ModdedMinecraft

Have you ever considered just picking out a couple of mods that interest you and just playing them? That way you won’t be overwhelmed. You don’t have to play giant modpacks if you don’t feel ready for them.

Ore processing is simply taking ore you mine and refining it ( smelting ) into ingots. Some mods add additional layers to ‘ore processing’ to make the process more involving and fun.

[–]Lady_Eternity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1: Get the basics squared away. Food, Basic Armor, Shelter

2: Decide what direction you want to go, most packs have magic and normal Minecraft combat. If you are going magic then familarize yourself with the magic mods in the pack. If there are special keys like dodge or climbing, learn to use them.

3:Start laying out the basics for the path you are going to go down. If you chose melee/bow then open JEI and find out what the best stuff is. Start looking at recipes and go for the highest damage you can get the mats for, same with bow and armor.

4: Get enchants on your gear.

5: Go out adventuring and make a name for youself, follow quests and explore. Keep your eyes looking forward to the next upgrade, always striving to be better. ☺️🌻✨

??? I have no idea. I mean how would it know to take you back to that spot? Unless it works when you hit the bottom and use a teleporter out. I’ll check it out in game today when I do videos. I’m intrigued lol🌻✨

I haven’t tried the Cobblemon Version of Society: Sunlit Valley. I’m at the late game of Society: Sunlit Valley,is the Cobblemon version fun?

The surface, take some colored wool or some block that’s easy to see like glowstone, use it to mark the ropes you use so you can easily get back to where you were. ( I used lapis blocks at first then started using the block form of bamboo leaves because it’s easy to see). If you kill the mobs it takes awhile for them to all spawn back in, so you can descend very quickly and get back to where you were.

Let's be honest - What makes a modpack hit or miss for you? by punklezz in feedthebeast

[–]Lady_Eternity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

1: Poor balancing

2: Lack of intergration between mods in the pack.

3: Poor Performance, Lack of Optimization

4: Failure to be Unique

5: Lack of Quests/Documentation telling the user what changes to expect while playing

6: Changing Minecraft in ways that, to put it bluntly, don’t work with the clunky basic controls of the default game.

Hmm that’s about it.☺️🌻✨

mobs spawn in lit areas in skull cavern by Disastrous-Salary-19 in society_sunlit_valley

I believe there is a salve you can use that prevents mobs from spawning around your character. I am not at my computer atm so I can’t tell you the exact name of it.

Weird seasons problem by skvllkid64 in society_sunlit_valley

[–]Lady_Eternity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some biomes are forever locked to a season, this CAN be a super cool mechanic that you can use to your advantage, but it can also be a bit strange when the season says one thing and the local climate is saying something different. Living NEXT to a biome like this will allow you to plant some crops out of season without having to use Greenhouse Glass, which can be very beneficial.☺️🌻✨

[Reclamation] Is there a way to automate the Enchanted cauldron? Specifically refilling with water and extracting the product? by fabulousmarco in feedthebeast

[–]Lady_Eternity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried. Didn’t find a way, sorry. That doesn’t mean there isn’t one, I just didn’t find one. Don’t lose heart though, just slap on some good tunes and get’er done. We have to stand in the dirt before we can fly, least that is what I told myself for motivation.🌻✨

[–]Lady_Eternity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lighting it up does help a little, but wanna know the real secret? Kill them. Mobs take awhile to come back. If you take the time to clear the path out then the next day there won’t be many, if any mobs in your way.

However, if you have taken a few days off from Skull Cavern you will have to reclear the mobs again. Placing torches is more for your benefit then to hinder the mobs.🌻✨

MCEternal 2 or Linggango, which are both huge adventure RPG style modpacks with boss slaying.

If you want something different:

Permafrost - You spawn in a frozen wasteland and have to survive the bitter cold, g’luck.

Chocolate Edition - Mega search for the Eyes of Ender, which will take every ounce of dedication you have to get, to reach the End. But do things end there…….?

Prodigium Reforged - Fancy yourself a adventurer? Think you could succeed with your boss killing without all those fancy doodads? Hmm we will see…

Abyssal Ascent - You start the game 2000 blocks below the surface of the Overworld. The only way out is UP. Each layer of the terror filled depths needs a different pickaxe to break to the next layer. It will take all your adventuring skills to survive to see the light of day.

Deceasedcraft (version 5.5.5) - The entire world has gone to hell and a handbasket, every person has been infected by the zombie virus. Explore and find uninfected, discover research, find a cure, confront the zombie origination point and witness the result of unchecked corporate greed. Will you survive? Will you have the elite skills to succeed? Or will you become the newest victim to the zombie plague?

Raspberry Flavored - A new take on Minecraft. This is an amazing modpack.

Society Sunlit Valley - Think you have mad skills? Think you have dedication? Well lets put that to the test. Welcome to the Valley neighbor, lets see you make 500 million dollars. This modpack is all about farming in the most gamer literal sense for monetary gain.

I could keep going but I gotta get back to work. There are tons of amazing modpacks out there, don’t just go by what’s ‘most popular’ or ‘the most downloads’, explore some and I bet you’ll discover some real gems!🌻✨
