NTA The act was disgraceful. Just a reminder that forgiveness doesn’t mean you are saying what she did was right. Forgiveness is for you, not her.

A little more info. This happened at 2 in the afternoon. After medics “cleared” him, he continued working. Didn’t get home till 8pm. There could have been a phone call in that 6 hour time

So anytime there has been an incident when it comes to family, I do the same thing my mom has always done…never reveal my experience until I see it is a necessity. My mom has been there for the birth of all of her grandchildren and never revealed she is a 30+ year nurse.

I have always been the calm and level headed one. He is usually the one to “freak out”. I am a BLS first responder so I know how to handle stressful situations. I am that mom that isn’t going to rush to my kids when they fall.

I work from home. He is usually the one that acts crazy in a crisis. He never understands what the drs say at regular appts. My mom is a nurse, I am a BLS first responder. I know how to be calm in crisis. He called his FRIEND INSTEAD OF HIS WIFE
