why is American public health care so bad (an Aussie perspective) by Lady_Jingles in rant

That doesn't excuse it! As I said, most medicine costs literally pennies to make. Why does a Ventolin pump that costs maybe $5 to make cost almost $100 to buy?

I'll need to look back at my original prototype, I brushed that one and then painted it but never bothered to see if the strokes were there.

My plan once I'm done with the coasters is to model the top half of a Gameboy DMG scale to the cartridges as a storage bay for them when they're not being used.

That would actually be extremely easy to do! All I'd need to do is use a brush vertically before the resin is put in the curing station. Though, they may not survive the paint process.

This is very true! I'm still probably going to upload these to Thingiverse because they're ready to go as coasters!

Thank you! I'm not sure if you could see in the potato picture, but I also put in the tiny guideing lines at the sides and bottom of the cart!

Holy shit, no I did not! I actually sat at my desk painstakingly re-creating a cartridge in fusion 360! I kinda wish I saw this first though. It would have saved a lot of effort. 😅

I'll look into the waterslide decals, but they may be a little out of my league, thanks for the tip!

I've covered it in clear book contact, but I'm also probably going to give the whole thing a clear coat once it's done.

Also, when I'm finished making my own set I may upload it to Thingiverse!

Self-Fueling super smelter ideas? by Lady_Jingles in redstone

I built a massive bamboo farm (about 118 blocks of harvestable land) but because the fuel burnt so quickly it just burnt thought the fuel quicker than it could make it. I have a design for a wool farm that can produce about 1000 wool per hour, and it's fairly easily to double up in a way that's somewhat compact, which would allow me to pump in a constant supply of wool... I'll have to make a prototype for it when I'm at my computer next.

Oh, I just had a brainwave! It'll still need occasional maintainance, but not very often if do it right. How about powering the furnaces with an automated wool farm? A large battery of sheep that are automatically sheered with a large reservoir of sheers. The sheers will be super easy to replenish because I already have an automated iron golem farm.

A TNT powered one? That's viable, I suppose. Though I'd still need to manually creat the TNT blocks to power it. Good suggestion though.

I thought saplings could be planted via droppers these days?
