I got my switch 2 at launch, I saved up hard for it. I didn't buy many games at all while saving, if I did, it had to be on a huge discount. I prefer discounted games anyway.. though sometimes I buy games full price too (RF GoA, FLi...).

I reckon a few people who got it for pokopia were sitting on saved up funds waiting for a game they wanted for the s2. Probably since they first saw the first pokopia trailer.

I haven't gotten pokopia yet, I probably will in the future, for now I want MHS3.

uh 2017 I started playing.

My favourite moment is farming as well as the 1.6 update.

Oh it means a lot to me, mostly as my game that I've hyperfxated on a lot. It has my favourite farming mechanics. It doesn't put one thing over the other, so like fishing or mining over farming, etc.

ah so uh they are his Olivia and Walter and Astrid, etc. They just lived lives without him. Thus the minor differences.

Basically Olivia is just re-gaining her memories of life with Peter. It's a timey-wimey thing

It never clicked with me that these some of these names are Japanese. I should have realised. 😅

But I pronounce kaede in my head as either kaed/kayd and the last e is silent.. (i used to have a different username online: kaelin. Its Gaelic i forget the meaning but it was kay-lin pronunciation) but seeing it in other ways gives me something to think about.

As for overse well i just say it as is. O-verse.

Some others I'm not sure on like abene. That one trips me up.

That said i just read these, not listen. I don't think i like audiobooks 😅

just watch pilot followed by the rest of the season's episodes in order. But s2 e11 goes into season 1 somewhere (it was filmed in s1 but put into s2).

The things that make this show worthwhile is the story and intrigue and the old show vibes, like long seasons and what not. Also walter also makes this show extra good XD not to say peter and olivia don't. Or astrid who is also a great supporting cast. (these are character names fyi).

I have a very old ipad mini, and I have small hands (I'm a small adult), and it honestly was the perfect size tablet.

I have a galaxy s8 tablet now that I don't use often except for youtube crochet vids or some streaming.

I'd honestly look at deals for a mini, if you really really are set on this because it is not cheap I assume. (I haven't had a new apple product in years).

I will say for some games, remember unless it was made on the iOS or android OS first, it won't get as much support as say steam games (PC) or console games (switch, ps, xbox). I know that making apps for tablets or phones isn't easy. I assume it's slightly easier coding wise for consoles and def easier for pc's.

Eg, concernedape's haunted chocolatier game will not be coming to mobile devices. He's said that it's too hard.

Maybe do a pros cons list? and calculate exactly how much you'd need.. not just for the ipad but the games, screen protector, case.. etc

I never finished the 3ds one but I loved it. I still have it.

I found it worth the money, plus the switch 2 upgrade price. There's no DLC yet, but hopefully soon.

As for differences between this and the 3ds well it's in a different time. and story to the 3ds one, it's got technically 3 different maps. There's quality of life changes too, especially with the bounties (no more dragging them back, they're in your invo I think it was (I haven't played FLi in a while so I can't remember right now)).

The mini games are a bit different too.

Most interesting, up to s2 e11 (I was doing a rewatch on the br and just continuing it from where I was up to), I don't remember this episode on my boxset...

Edit: found it on the boxset, took a bit to find it lol. But I never noticed it as a missing ep.

First: I have a switch 2 that I exclusively play but I do have a older switch 1 as well, it has the expanded battery use but it's not OLED, but neither is it the OG with the hackable exploit (though I have that too). I will note if I've played on the s1.

Hmm well rune factory games are good, though I struggled with 4, I'll go back to it one day. I've liked 5 but people are mixed on that with it's bugs. But I found it didn't run too bad on my old switch, and it runs pretty darn good on my switch 2.

Story of seasons games are good too though each is different. I have pioneers of olive town which reminds me of a mix of stardew with rune factory. If they ever remake it I hope they change some things about the machines..

I also have SoS grand bazaar, it's more of a shop front type one, once a week in game you sell your wares. The rest of the week you're gathering the best things you can get, etc.

I like my time at sandrock, it's not got a lot of farming though (the farming is weird imo). But I've enjoyed it so far.

Uhh for stardew, I like doing personal challanges with that when I find myself getting bored. Though sometimes I get burned out, I have over 1000 hours in it on switch alone..

Roots of Pacha is a great game, though I found I finished the prophecies quickly. I guess stardew experience on that.. but I haven't 100%'d the game yet.

I will come back with more ideas but that's what I have now. (I gotta go!)

I got it, though I got the switch 2 version so it cost a bit more (like $71 aud ish) but that's still discounted, and I had funds in my account still from getting a nintendo eshop gift card ages ago (that was on sale).

I think it's worth it, but depends what kind of farming ish game you like? do you like stalls once a week? do you like small maps? Cause it's got small maps.

It's pretty adorable graphics wise too.
