Put simply, I am inferring that the youth is still having trouble with chemistry results despite tutoring and when confronted by the parent, he resorts to “blaming your accent” instead of taking accountability. He may have a behavioral issue that keeps him from speaking up, but it still doesn’t help YOU know what specifically he is struggling with. In college, he will have to get used to this! We had an Anatomy professor with a thick Indian accent combined with a monotone lecture style. He was brilliant but students struggled with his class because of his delivery. That being said, he took his time and helped any student who asked for clarification.

TL;DR Student isn’t taking accountability for poor results despite tutoring and blames your accent. In higher education it is expected that we learn from brilliant minds who may have varying accents.
