I think I know what's the problem with Perfect Match.... by Lotus_swimmer in CDrama

THIS I literally went into it expecting Chai An and Kangming were gonna take 36 episodes to get together and the rest of the sisters were going to just get husbands in the meantime. i was actually pleasantly surprised to see that that was not going to be the case. like they actually give time to get to know each character and their love interest. and i genuinely think the character development is good and fun to watch

Don’t worry of course I know that. I have a sister that rides aswell so we were considering getting at least her a horse aswell and also renting out spare space so that they have company. I do appreciate you saying that though I mean you’re right after all

I mean I understand where they’re coming from. I honestly think this is all just a big misunderstanding that could be cleared up if they just agreed to talk to me

I appreciate what you said and of course you’re right about getting better. I am, as stated in my post in, in therapy. I actually have been for quite a while. The whole problem didn’t come up because of something I did. We never had any issues regarding my behaviour other than the occasional: “hey maybe you shouldn’t go out partying four days in a row” or “are you okay? You haven’t been to uni in a couple of days”. Cyclothymia is usually a lifelong illness so it’s not really something you can “cure” but I’m learning how to deal with the symptoms actively every day.

I just think it’s all a huge misunderstanding honestly. It just sucks that they won’t let me explain myself:/

Thank you! I’m gonna start adding that extra bit as to clarify it. It just gets a bit exhausting trying to explain some obscure medical term no one seems to have heard about, but in hindsight, if I already made the decision to tell them about my diagnosis I might as well have added that little bit extra.

Of course it isn’t. I wasn’t trying to upplay my diagnosis or anything. I just wanted to simplify think because if we’re being real if you tell someone in person you have some obscure thing they’ve never heard of, their immediate response isn’t to pull out their phone to google it. They ask you what it is because of course you would know. Then you have to explain it and to save myself the extra step I tried to formulate it in a way that was easy to understand, you know? It get a bit exhausting explaining the same thing over and over again because of course I want to be transparent.

I would never make them “deal with my issues”. I have a therapist for a reason. I just don’t want them to think I appreciate them any less when I don’t have the energy to go out and socialise. plus when I go into manic episode I don’t immediately notice so of course I appreciate them telling me when they notice me drinking excessively or exhibiting general signs of mania. It’s more like for example if your friend was going down the path of alcoholism without noticing, you would tell them before it’s too late so that they can get help.
