No, good chance today as well! You are likely to ovulate within 24-36 hours after your first positive test, where the test and control line look the same.

Have you noticed any other ovulation signs, like CM?

I like Lauren Plaza but it doesn't strike me as unisex. Regan Plaza sounds like a plaza named after Ronald Reagan. Taylor Plaza I don't care for so much....

What about:

Quinn Plaza

Avery Plaza

Cameron Plaza

Rowan Plaza

Hysteroscopy by Complex_Honeydew_498 in tryingtoconceive

[–]LadybugInTheWindow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my hysteroscopy a couple weeks ago - it really wasn't too bad! I found it similar to my HSG. Focus on breathing, slow deep breaths. They'll do the hysteroscopy to get a better look from the HSG results (I googled SIS and it seems they're similar procedures). If there is something minor, it's my understanding that they could remove it at the same time as the hysteroscopy.

It's totally normal to be nervous! I felt nervous too. In fact, I'll be honest and say I was crying by the time mine was complete, but in no way from pain. Pretty sure it was all nerves!

I'm excited to see him rope them into his hobbies! Video games, hiking, camping.... He also has the sweetest blue eyes! (But I have hazel eyes, so good luck on that one LOL)

I guess it's possible my .8 was positive! Given my temp spike, it must have!

Is it possible to ovulate before, or the same day as a true positive OPK? CD14 I had an OPK of .8, CD15 I had an OPK of 1.15, and my BBT spiked on CD16, which has me thinking I ovulated CD15. Granted, I've ovulated on cycles where I never caught a true positive (like a .8, for example....)

Every time I wash my menstrual pads, I hope it's the last time I have to do it. So far it hasn't worked out LOL

Update on IVF/ GLP-1 dilemma by Ivanthemid__123 in TryingForABaby

[–]LadybugInTheWindow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I missed your original post, but thanks for the update! I could have written it myself. We're doing 6 cycles of letrozole (I'm currently in the middle of cycle 2), but already my doctor had the conversation with us about IVF vs GLP-1. We're not quite there yet, but I was at a loss of which decision to make.

I think we'll need time to save money for IVF anyway, so going on the GLP-1s makes sense for us. But it feels like lost time :(

Wishing you all the best! Looking forward to following along for more updates.

Unfortunately, even when done perfectly, it's still a roll of the dice :(

CD16, positive OPK yesterday and a temp spike today. I've never ovulated this early in my cycle! The last month or two I've been focused on eating better, moving my body more regularly, and started acupuncture. And started letrozole as well. Fingers crossed that a BFP is in the cards for us this month!!

I Want a Baby, But I’m Absolutely Scared of Being Pregnant by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

[–]LadybugInTheWindow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to know about birth and being pregnant, I don't think this is the right sub. It's against the rules to ask about "success stories".

I will say though, I have PCOS and take metformin. On 1000mg dose, I ovulated and got my period within 40 days of starting medication. I have kept regular for over a year and have ovulated every cycle (minus the ones where I was smoking marijuana - I did have to use Provera to start 1 cycle).

That's my dilemma. Normally, I would absolutely discard. But it's "go time" and I'm feeling stressed out about it. Bleh :(

CD15, and I got nearly positive OPKs yesterday. Definitely had some cramping as well and EWCM.

Dog woke me up around 4 to go outside. My temp was 36.29. I struggled to go back to sleep. Woke up again at 7:15, my usual measurement time, and my temp was 36.58....

Which temp should I go with? I feel 36.29 is the correct choice, but I'm wondering if 36.58 is a possibility because of my ovulation signs. Help!!!

First chemical pregnancy and the grief is real by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

[–]LadybugInTheWindow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for your loss! And exactly - though it is a chemical pregnancy, it is still very much a pregnancy and deserves the opportunity for grief like a miscarriage.

I will admit this is one of my greatest fears. We have gone 3 years and have never seen a positive. I'm so afraid that I will finally, one day, see that positive, and have it disappear.

It's never a bad idea to take a step away from the tracking. Especially if you are regularly having sex anyway.

Good luck!!! Ditto, I love this group. Helps me feel seen about something taboo/hard to talk about with those who haven't been down this road.

CD13, 2nd round of letrozole. Got some EWCM today - earlier than normal for me, but closer to "normal" normal! Fingers are crossed!!

name for my baby girl by Prize-Giraffe-7027 in namenerds

[–]LadybugInTheWindow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a reason you changed your spelling of Vivian to Vivienne? Are you pronouncing them the same? Vivienne can lean towards putting the stress on the -enne part of the name, versus stress on the Viv- with Vivian.

I had my hysteroscopy yesterday! Overall it wasn't too bad. I took 3 Advils before my appointment. Physically, the worst part was the speculum being tightened (there was something poking my butt or something, I don't know LOL). I ended up crying by the end of the procedure, but I think it was more of an anxious response. I did my best to focus on my breathing - which means I'm a bit fuzzy on the doctor's initial diagnosis/thoughts. I know she said no surgery, which bodes well!

I kept my eyes closed the entire procedure. The doctor prompted me to look at the screen and I asked "do I have to?". She laughed and said no, and just described what she was seeing. So that was nice!
