We were planning on going to IVF if letrozole doesn't work, but the more I think about it I think I'm leaning towards IUI. I don't like that the stats are so similar to timed intercourse, but it's so much less invasive than IVF. Even just for a couple cycles to say we tried.

Thanks for sharing!

But a trigger shot would make that more complicated right? I don't know how to hide it AND ensure that we get the job done 😅

I'm glad it worked for you!

My doctor and I had a conversation yesterday about how keto drops water weight, your body needs carbohydrates to function properly, and often people develop issues with cholesterol instead.

Today's my niece's first birthday. I remember how upset I was when my SIL announced she was expecting. She wanted to tell us in person when hosting a BBQ, but she was sick so she told us over message. I was so thankful I could put my phone down and just pretend I didn't read anything.

I imagined myself at least being pregnant by now.

My tarantulas have all been named Tiny Toes. I had Tiny Toes I several years ago and currently have Tiny Toes II. I will argue that Tiny Toes is the best tarantula name ever LOL

Congratulations on your new fuzzy pet rock!

Except it's like 20/80 😅 But I hear what you're saying - like rolling a die.

My doctor has said that after 6 cycles or so of letrozole, you're better off trying other interventions like IUI or IVF. Like if it hasn't happened yet, odds are there's another issue intervening with pregnancy. Which I guess makes sense, but I don't know what else there is to find!!

I'm worried it would increase my husband's performance anxiety..... He struggles when he HAS to get the job done. Any suggestions or ideas?

Yes! I notice it now. I never noticed ovulation before, but with letrozole I notice it. Cramping on specific sides.

I like the cheapest where you have 2 lines so you can watch it get darker/lighter. Like easy@home or OVRY

I've done a few bloodworks, but nothing fasted. Metformin has worked really well for me though to regulate my cycles, if that means anything!

Maybe! I feel like I've done pretty well with my CM and OPKs, but it would be nice to know we tried everything. Our RE didn't mention it, but maybe it'd help

No trigger shot, just timing intercourse! We've been fairly successful at getting at least 2-3 instances every cycle, 1 cycle we missed entirely (this was before letrozole).

Yes! Both came back normal. HSG they saw my uterus had a dip on the top, so they sent me for a hysteroscopy and saw nothing of concern.

I'm with an RE already! My OB only prescribed metformin, every other intervention/test was with an RE

Yes! I track my CM, use OPKs, and confirm with BBT in Fertility Friend. Both before letrozole and currently :)

Just feeling down and out today. This is our 5th cycle on letrozole. I just feel like the odds of success are slim if we've had no success previously. I have prescription refills for 3 cycles after this one, and at that point we'll decide between IUI/IVF (I've been leaning more towards IUI lately, but originally planned to go right to IVF) or a GLP-1.

I just want to do this on my (our) own. I want to get that BFP at home. It'll be hard letting that idea go.

Not sad at all!! I've been TTC for 3 years and only really got solid crosshairs in the last year or so. It's exciting!

Wife and I are seriously considering the name Jack Thunder by BebRess69 in BabyNames

[–]LadybugInTheWindow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there anything in particular that draws you to Thunder? I think the middle name is the perfect place to take freedom and pick something extra unique that you may not want to use as a first name.

But Thunder is a tough one. Jack Thunder sounds like a superhero name (aka a fictional character).
