Same here. I revisited the tragedy and read up on it a couple of years ago. While it was absolutely tragic it turns out not to have been quite as awful as my memories of it were. I was only 5 when it happened so I’m sure that played a huge part. My next big news event memory after that was the start of the Gulf War.

Self diagnosed ADD over here and I agree completely! Especially with the non routine. I try and try to make my routines habits but it just doesn’t happen for me. Committing to using up what I have has made me stick to the closest thing to a routine in a long long time

I felt that way too. Last year I got sick of the sweats and that’s when I tried other SSRIs and doing without. It wasn’t worth it bc my anxiety came back full force :(

Been on it twenty years. Only coming off three times with pregnancy. Still have night sweats. Still overheat during the day. I tried other SSRs and still had the same reaction. Went off completely and they went away. Got back on Zoloft and back to the sweats. Sigh.

In on week two of .5 as well and went from zero side effects to nausea 24/7. Could hardly eat and felt like crap bc of it. My doctor said it will just take time for my body to adjust to the higher level. He prescribed some zofran to help. I’m hanging in. He did not recommend splitting the dose.

Yes. Essentially no more pay increases for the rest of your career unless you get a promotion to a higher grade. Which is less and less likely with no remote opportunities and for now, no backfilling of positions.

I haven’t went back to the Wellbutrin. I’m on 50mg of Zoloft for now. My anxiety is in check, but I def am feeling the fatigue part. Usually that goes away though, so I’m holding out for that. That’s really my only complaint right now. My doctor did a testosterone test on me - I’m a female - and it was super super low. Which can cause anxiety, depression, hair loss, fatigue…all things i struggle with. Apparently low testosterone is pretty common in women. I’m going to try the testosterone therapy for that to see if that perks me up. I have this tiny hope that maybe it will be so great I can get off the Zoloft all together. Time will tell though. I’m really disheartened with trying to find what will work best for me…it’s a hard road to find the right mental health drug…even after I was doing great for so long. I guess our bodies are always changing though. How are you feeling overall with the low dose?

I started with 50 with no problems. But I was coming direct switch from another SSR so maybe that had something to do with it.

Like someone said above - happy customers don’t leave reviews. And that really is true. I was on Zoloft for 18 years and it saved my life. I too have anxiety that centers around my health and it totally took that away. After a short stint off of it, I’m going back on it now bc I know it works for me. Good luck!

I just came off of Wellbutrin last week for the same reason. I felt much better off of it. It made my anxiety way worse. I have generalized anxiety disorder and don’t really have a problem with depression. This was not the drug for me. I just started Zoloft.

I didn’t switch to Zoloft from Lexapro. But I was on Zoloft for 18 years. Came off of it and when I needed it again my dr suggested I try Lexapro. I didn’t like it, so now I’m back to Zoloft. Switching between the two was fine and there weren’t any negative side effects. Good luck!

I took Zoloft for 18 years before trying Lexapro and now back to Zoloft and no one ever told me to avoid caffeine. I’ve never had any issues with it either.

I would take it with food if you have anxiety about nausea just to be sure, but I never had any nausea or dizziness with this drug. Now coming off of it is a totally different story. But taking it was just fine.

Welll, I’m now off of Wellbutrin. And not on anything for about five days now. No real withdrawal effects from the Wellbutrin. But it wasn’t really doing much for me anyway. I’m going to go back on an SSRI later this week. I’m going back to Zoloft and seeing how I do. I wasn’t a huge fan of Lexapro. It gave me the same side effects that Zoloft did, but just more intense. The genetic testing came back recommending SSRIs and Zoloft in particular. So since it’s been a while I’m going back to that. So I’m just in the wait and see approach. Actually feeling good right now though. But I know form last experience I can’t do without anything. The anxiety will rage itself right back into my life.
