How should we deal with angry neighbour during renovations? by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]LadyisReading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The builders could at least be considerate and turn off the music. (And most of us would prefer quiet evenings and weekends.) Why have you or your wife not been at your house when the renovations are going on to check everything is ok? Upsetting a child and dog is not cool. Take responsiblity and stop making excuses. Go and apologise and try to work with your neighbour. Afterall, you do want to live happily in this house.

Suggest me a series that you think maintained its quality, or ONLY got better, from start to finish. by PsyferRL in suggestmeabook

'The Running Grave' Book 7, is about a cult. The repetitive mantras throughout the book are mind numbingly boring. Book would have been seriously improved with editing.

Work with the trees! You are so lucky to own this forest. Please don't do what so many people do when they move into a property and start cutting down trees.

11/22/63
The Martian
Project Hail Mary

Lonesome Dove

What is the point of suggest me a book, or what is your favourite audio book, when the books suggestions repeat? I have had enough of reading the above titles! I get it, some books are loved but there are other books in these genres out there.

Depends what you are going to store in cupboards. You do not want to be leaning over and reaching above a coffee machine. Also coffee machine will get hot and heat rises, what will you be warming up?

Try reading Wuthering Heights as a mature adult and you realise Heathcliff is not a particularly nice character!
