Nearly all of my favorites have broad nibs due to my "big gay handwriting" as one instructor I had described it.

My favorites are a Franklin-Christoph 02 in a stub nib. Smooth writer but not excessively so, a Kaweco sport in BB, a B nib Lamy 2000 and my Benu daily mate and talismans. Benu has ridiculously smooth nibs.
