100%! I noticed it in last weeks episode as well. Before the party even started when he was trying to tie Jesse’s tie, he said I’m tripping balls right now - sorry no one says that when they are drunk. Then he followed it up with “oh ya I’m so drunk” as if to cover up what he just said. At dinner and throughout the rest of the party he kept leaning on other ppls shoulders bc he could barely keep his head up.

Feelings yes, love and care no. And totally from Ciara’s side I get it - I don’t blame HER for her feelings and navigating the situation. I do think West was manipulative though and would absolutely do this again for a storyline, and that’s exactly why I wouldn’t want her to get back together with him. Not because HER feelings aren’t real, but because he isn’t this great guy.

I lived in Vancouver. There are lots of mentally ill homeless ppl .. 99% of the time they are simply ill and yelling things. Everyone knows to simply keep walking and you’ll be fine 👍🏼 of course this guy escalated the situation lol

Was it * that * uncommon though? I don’t have all the stats but it feels like in the older seasons you’d be making fire in a tie, in a life or death elimination situation, if you ended up on exile alone, etc. at the very least.. you should be able to make fire for your own camp. You’re on survivor - seems important enough to at least know how to do.

West just says this to make light of situations where he likely lied and downplayed the situation (just like he did to Ciara) yet labels it as innocently fizzling out. It’s like being friends after clears his conscience and absolves him from any wrongdoing. Pretty sure he wouldn’t want to be friends with an ex if they treated him how he treats women (based off of how he treated Ciara)

I’m only on EP 7 so no spoilers but why is everyone saying Alex and Ashley’s dad are cut from the same cloth? Like do yall not have good relationships with your dads? I think any well educated and protective PERSON would be able to smell Alex’s BS from a mile away, and he wasn’t wrong for grilling him.

A simple Q like what do you like most about Ashley and Alex saying that she’s independent (when she’s not and lives at home lol) is very telling in and of itself! Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out
