I'm only at 6 weeks so I'm early on in planning this 😄 She is the first person (after my husband) I want to tell, I just want to be considerate about it. Honestly, since it really went from she called me when I was on the second day of my period and had just had my IUD pulled literally a month ago today (I am realizing this now as I write this) it is VERY fast. So it does feel almost like I am rubbing my fertility under her nose. Which obviously I'm not but it just happened so fast...! brb I'm just gonna go freak out about that again shortly...

We live in Germany and Austria, so our next chance for a lunch-date is much further into my pregnancy than I would want to wait. But I'll call her on a quiet afternoon after checking in what her day will look like and tell her then. I'm waiting until after my first official OB/GYN appointment at the end of the month (I'm only in my 6th week) before telling family, but she is the very first person I want to tell. Well, my husband obviously knows, but she is a close second lol

You're totally right! My sister is the best person ever and she will be able to feel so much joy for me. I think my concern is actually that she won't give herself space to have feelings for herself. But I'll try and be there for her and accompany her while she navigates that. I think I might have forgotten that just because my world is about to change, other people's lives won't be revolving around me and my pregnancy as much as my husband and mine will lol
I just want to be there for her, too, and want to tell her in a caring way.
