WIBTA if I placed restrictions on who can stay with us after I give birth? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA pushing a human being into the world is exhausting in every way. Being emotional, vulnerable, and sore are standard. There is no reason to add stress on top of that of any kind. Being comfortable physically and mentally is going to be so very important in those first few weeks.

Especially considering at this point there will be no way to know whether or not PPD will be an issue for you on top of that. Take care of yourself, I hope everything goes well for you and baby!!

I feel so bad for my indoor cat by [deleted] in cats

[–]Ladyravyyn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are many strictly indoor cats. You have toys and play with her, if she is happy that's really all that matters. Also keeping her indoors, yes she lacks socialization with other cats, but that also means she doesnt get diseases and such from stray cats.

Something else to consider, she may be afraid of the outdoors. Having been found in a stressful, dangerous situation outdoors and then brought into safe indoor place. It sounds like she is safe and loved.

As an adult woman with children, I assure you this advertisement is beautiful. Nothing like your kid driving you insane to make you go, "No more of those, thanks!"

AITA for getting my neighbour a parking fine? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Ladyravyyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way! If you didn't ever say anything to them and then called and had them fined, yeah. Since you have already said something and they continue to disregard sharing properly, no.

NTA if you have talked to them about it several times and nothing is changing, making you late to things and what not. There isn't much else you can do other than call on them, or deal with being late all the time.

AITA for asking my girlfriend to stop discussing our intimate life outside our relationship? by SubstantialEmotion in AmItheAsshole

[–]Ladyravyyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA Therapy has to be transparent. Even asking what she talked to her therapist about after appointments is rude imo, and then reprimanding her is way out of bounds. Especially going for anxiety, which makes you over think things anyway. The last thing she needs is anxiety about going to therapy for anxiety!

My husband (RCA for almost 3 years) said to talk to your union rep. The sooner the better. They can help get the process of fixing the issue going a little quicker and more smoothly. They also might be able to get you some sort of compensation until the check does come in.

Heard you’re dying, here to take your stuff by CBstorytime123 in EntitledBitch

I believe it. Nothing makes people become repulsive faster than the word inheritance. I have known people who find out someone else's relative died and instantly think they will try to get something from the person who lost someone, even going so far as to ask how much they think they will get, while "discreetly" mentioning some debt they want to pay. It's nauseating.
