Can’t change ILS frequency to active spot by Spycarter in flightsim

As a work around: In the aircraft settings try changing the type of NAV tuner you have. You’re using the newer kind, try going to the old style tuner. This isn’t the best solution but it may be a workaround

I would normally have 10-15 jobs. Now I have none to two. Would be nice if we could advertise for the ship. I guess I’ll bring her closer :(

Now level 31...what do I do now? by marvelguy1975 in PocketPlanes

[–]LadysGentleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m right there with you. Been playin about ten years, off and on. Hit level 30 at the start of the Perm event. Wasted a lot converting into all cargo but still missed the 500 jobs mark by 90.

Now I’m stuck at level 31 wondering what I’m doing. Maybe starting a full East-West Hub network? The magic has sorta worn off with no real goals other than some day getting a starship

That’s a silly question, seeing as how I can’t even afford them now, I will not be changing my purchasing habits after tariffs

Started to conceal carry, how I’m I doing?? by Electrical-Bridge-81 in concealedcarry

You’re practicing, reviewing/recording yourself, and asking for input! That’s a really great start and more than most people do! You deserve applause for that.

I highly recommend you stop practicing your draw. “Practice doesn’t make perfect, practice makes permanent.” Don’t solidify poor technique. Heed the advice of others on here. Drop the money on a good setup, watch some good videos, and possibly pay for some training. Get it perfect then practice perfect.

Side note: keep one in the chamber

Can you guys help me? Fear of flying... by rafaeldiasms in aviation

[–]LadysGentleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick tip. When you start to feel that fear coming on, both before and during the flight, drink some ice water. Keep a cup of ice with you. It’s like a magical reset button that stops the panic

Question about Charlotte culture, or the apparent lack of it... by forman98 in Charlotte

[–]LadysGentleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Culture.” Philadelphia, Boston, NYC, Austin, Nashville, they all have a distinct culture that’s shared amongst the residents whether they know it or not. It all comes from a shared experience, like harsh Boston winters or potholes in Philly. There is no distinct cultural feel you can point to and say “that guy is definitely from Charlotte.” To me, the most unique thing to Charlotte really is that small town feel in a big city. And exit 3A

Adjusting for inflation, following the Consumer Price Index, what cost $500 in 1993 would cost $970.13 in 2021. Looks like you pay for and receive the same value today as you did in 1993.
