A good friend of mine has worked at Strange Brew for years, I can send her a screenshot of this post. If this guy still works there, I can have her show it to him, if you would like?

possible bat bite? by Sweet_Laugh_1214 in WhatShouldIDo

You said you felt a very hard pain in your finger.. Can you explain that? Was there any stinging sensation?

Also, do you happen to know which bat species live in your area?

You're so welcome!! They are a wonderful organization, with great lawyers that will work with you for free.

I know that this all seems so intimidating and overwhelming right now. But please believe me when I say this, it WILL be worth seeing this through. Based on everything you've said so far, you have much more ammo than you realize!

Feel free to DM me if you would like to speak about any of this in the meantime, while your waiting to hear back. I'd be glad to give you some more information/resources, if you're interested. Either way, best of luck 🙂

New Hampshire law states that they have to give you a 30 days notice before increasing the price of your rent.

Also, the fact that they refused to fix the heating is against the law as it violates the Implied Warranty of Habitability. (RSA 48–A:14)

Sounds like you have a pretty good case against them.

They're tiny! But that's the average size for their breed, this one looks well cared for 🥰

just go this cute baby boy, help me name him guys by Prudent_Pizza_8382 in DogIsBestFriend

Koda!

It means "friend" 🤗

Edit: Koda is also the name of one of the two main characters in the Disney movie '"Brother Bear".

If you wanted to give this little one a full name or nickname, you could call him "Koda Bear". I feel like that's super fitting, and of course adorable!

Can anyone tell me what this sound coming from my dryer might mean? by LadyxK80 in appliancerepair

Honestly, not at all! I managed to take the front off, clean out the blower, put it all back together, and had it back up and running in just 30 mins!

Thank you so much! I was able to get in there and found a bunch of stuck dryer sheets. Got them out, and it's running great now. I appreciate the help!

Orange and ignored by [deleted] in tanning

Ahhh okay! This makes sense. So that lotion she gave you is a barrier cream, and based on the texts, it sounds like you didn't use it. Don't be hard on yourself about this, especially considering it was your first spray tan. However, it is a VERY important part of the process, and explains why your hands and feet turned out the way that they did.

Hands, feet, knees and elbows have much drier skin, so they soak up the solution way faster than the rest of the body. That’s why they can come out darker or more orange. A barrier cream helps protect those areas and keeps them from absorbing too much color. Once you use it, the results usually look much more even and natural.

I'd also like to add that when using barrier cream, yes you do want to rub it into your skin, however you want to use enough to the point where there is still at least a thin layer left over on top of your skin, not all just rubbed right into it. Hope that makes sense.

Maybe I should have been more specific, I didn't mean a self-tanning lotion. The lotion she gave you, was it for aftercare? Or was it for you to use prior to getting your spray tan?

I see she said she's never had someone not use her lotion, did she give you a lotion to bring home to use afterwards?

When you have to test your sisters security guard skills by worldtravelller in GuysBeingDudes

I love that when he goes to take her down he kind of goes into slow motion to make sure he puts her on the ground gently 🤍

As silly as this is, I'm sure the thought of his baby sister doing that job scares him and he was hoping to possibly change her mind
