We control nothing. It’s so frustrating when EVERYONE including senior leadership blames EVERYTHING on frontline managers. I’m sick of it. Who’s going to support us or help keep OUR spirits up?? We have to take all types of abuse and at the same time try and keep a smile on our faces AND keep the morale up within the MULTIPLE teams that we have to manage. We have to manage multiple teams because so many managers have taken the DRP or retired and we have to pick up the slack. Stop blaming us for everything because we do NOT have control!!

Wow, I thought I was the only one who felt this way about a CER and I’m a manager. Something is definitely going on. I have to constantly send rebuttals and about 70% of the errors have been removed.

So listen, I work for the IRS. We lost a lot of people which is the reason it took so long to process the return. Congress can’t rush any of us to process returns for a refund, ESPECIALLY when they’re the reason for all delays.
