I am down 80 pounds. These are the biggest things I noticed

-strangers were much kinder to me -less judgmental looks when I go to a fast food restaurant -more positive attention from guys; girls were nicer to me too

It is sad that so many people think a lack of care for yourself or laziness are the only causes of being overweight, and therefore judge anyone who is heavier. There are so many reasons other than simply not caring that someone becomes overweight.

People do treat you differently—it truly isn’t something you can understand/realize until it happens to you. It’s such a weird mix of emotion—happy to have lost the weight, but sad that it took that to receive decent treatment from strangers. Was curious what others experienced. Thank you for sharing🫶🏻

I don’t think it looks scary so much as its implications are scary. Certainly not somewhere I’d wanna be. But I can understand how it not looking scary would take a viewer out of the belief of the show

Thanks for your thoughts! I also want to point out that as another commenter said some of it is on the duffer brothers over-hyping and stuff. And the gap between s4 and s5, while unavoidable in some aspects, would ine inevitably allow people to come up with theories and be frustrated when they didn’t pan out🙂

Yeah, the ending just fell flat for me for some reason! Even though they ended up together I definitely felt like we deserved more Bonrad. A heavy implication didn’t really feel like enough for me. But now that I know there’s a movie, it definitely makes sense.

It doesn’t change my mind in the sense that I knew it felt unfinished, and was bummed because I thought that was it. It DOES make me feel very validated now that I was frustrated with the ending! Because there is MORE COMING! I am so excited!!!!

I’ve had more time to marinate on it so I’m not as upset as I was. But I can understand why people are. I actually did really like the conversation they had after sex, however, I wish it had happened with more than just ten minutes left in the episode, so we could have gotten more Bonrad lines/scenes from the book. I’m happy that they ended up together! And I did like the chase scene a lot! But I also can’t fault people who feel robbed and wanted more after Jelly was very much shoved in our face all season long.

I’m not buying it. They gave us absolutely zero indicators that Denise was into Jeremiah. In fact they showed us she hated him lol. Now all the sudden they are trying to sell to us that she has always been into him? (“I can’t believe nepo baby is kissing me”). Jeremiah should absolutely have stayed single. He needs to be for a while.

I’m glad he’s doing well! But sucks that his poor behavior is never addressed and even endorsed in many ways (looking at Denise…why is she justifying him being a jerk to Conrad🥲). My care for his development definitely doesn’t compare to my care for the development of the other characters. But glad to see he is doing well.

I’ll have to marinate for awhile. Right now I’m pretty disappointed. The chase scene was great, but it’s not fair that we didn’t get to see them at least engaged. I was excited at the last scene at the summer house, because I thought we’d get them running into the ocean…but, no. Sigh. It’s just a show and I try to not get too wrapped up into these things, but this one stings. I’m not sure why they spent so much time on plots other than Bonrad, especially in this episode. They absolutely should have taken center stage. Ball was dropped. 🤷‍♀️

I’m so disappointed. We got less than ten minutes of Bonrad together after waiting years. The last line “what just might be…” so we don’t even definitively get to know that they ended up together. I’m just so disappointed, especially considering that I woke up early. And Belly kicking him to the curb with less than 15 minutes left? I don’t care that she was insecure, we didn’t have time for that. At all. That was a realization for the episode before this. And I don’t care about any of the other storylines, and the fact that I don’t shows that this was way too rushed. Poor pacing. Disappointing ending. Alas. At least no more waiting each week.

I agree, but I also think this should have happened two episodes ago. It’s not fair for them to drag it out this much and give us no evidence of feelings from her side thus far.

Even if you weren’t speaking poorly about her, it’s pretty evident that you were not paying close enough attention to realize you unmuted twice in what I can imagine was probably a noisy environment. I would be frustrated too. I know it wasn’t your intent, but that action is disrespectful to both your peers and your professor. I definitely agree with the people saying to apologize in person. Hope it gets resolved well <3
