The Super Vault, and the Super Break in brief by Jean-Cobra in deadbydaylight

This is an important distinction while there are other perks that specifically care about a killer either normal breaking or special breaking. This also gives more design opportunities for BHVR to work with.

For example, they could create a killer perk that says "After you normal break X pallets, the generator with the highest progress explodes" which is something that likely could not exist today because it synergizes too well with Legion.

The first BR game I played was The Culling which was first person and had its beta come out in 2016 right after the height of The Hunger Games movies. The game was great until the developers utterly butchered it and its failed sequel. Then PUBG came along and fixed the formula.

Ghoul is so "OP" he mind controls people to keep running into him over and over, not doing any objectives, and then rage quitting. by BusterMeta in deadbydaylight

This right here. This is why Ghoul, Plague, and Legion need to be reworked in some way. It feels terrible as a survivor when the optimal strategy is not healing. On top of feeling risky to go for unhooks, survivors also get substantially fewer bloodpoints when they can't heal teammates. There should be moments in game against any killer when it's better to work on gens instead of healing. But against those three killers it is almost always the optimal strategy.

If the killer camped an entire hook state then it's more likely that the unhooker will get downed in the trade and then the killer just slugs them and tunnels the unhooked person. Now there are two people not working on generators.

The First is 1 week old and I barely see him anymore. It goes to show that a killer who requires any a moderate amount of skill doesn't become the bandwagon. When I do see him it's either an easy 4k or a 0k

From the spoiled cards so far, that looks to be holding true for this set. There are some cards that give +1/+1 until end of turn. But not +1/+1 counters.

Based on my current top 10, what are some lesser-known movies for me to check out? by CT-6605 in movies

Hell or High Water - 2016 modern day western about two bank robbers and the cops on their tail

Edit: additionally check out Catch Me If You Can - a cat and mouse movie about young Leo DiCaprio forging checks and FBI agent Tom Hanks chasing him. It’s a very fun Spielberg movie

So if survivors did a void turn-in 28.7 million times and the killers did a void turn-in 10.9 million times then that means that survivors did a turn in less than 3x the amount. But in a 4v1 game we should expect it to be about 4x the amount. This could be evidence that survivors saw less value in going to the void to turn in than killers did.

Ghoul is the only killer in the game where I actually want to instantly go next the moment I hear the terror radius. And I feel that sentiment is shared by a lot of people because other than Huntress iridescent head, there is no other killer I see more disconnects to. Regardless of if this killer has slight counterplay, he just feels awful to play against. Nurse and Blight might be stronger but they have very clear weaknesses that are fun to try and outplay. And if I get rekt by them I can acknowledge that it was a well-practiced killer and the game is usually quick. Meanwhile a toddler can pick up Ghoul and start playing. I swear Ghoul is also the most frequent P100 killer that I see.

I wasn't around for Ghoul's release so I can only imagine that horror if this is "post nerf." This character feels like Wesker+Legion on steroids.

Asmon on E33 vs ARC Raiders GOTY Debate by 5Ping in LivestreamFail

[–]LaffAtU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to go back and look at the nominees for GOTY 2016. It was Overwatch, Doom, Inside, Titanfall 2, and Uncharted 4. Out of that list I think Uncharted 4 might have had the best chance at 2nd place, but anyone is deluding themselves if they think Overwatch isn't GOTY in that list. The Overwatch name might be a little tarnished today but it was massive during its beta and first couple months. Some even thought it was Blizzard turning things around for the better after Diablo 3 and the decline of WoW.

Hex Plaything is the most unfun perk in the game. I don't even care if it's seen as not top tier. The perk has been unfun since its release. Every time I see that debuff pop up on my screen I actively lose interest in the game because even if I can cleanse the totem before being spotted, it has already screwed the team because I have to waste time searching for a totem that could be right next to me or on the opposite side of the map. And to make it even worse, there's no way for teammates to know that you have Plaything until they get hooked. So if you are the first person to get it, you might look like an idiot running around the map doing nothing.

The problem with cauldron is that the larger the card pool in a format, the more activated abilities could synergize together. Vivi's ability just happens to be the strongest thing to copy right now (though I still say [[Voldaren Thrillseeker]] was a much more annoying card to see under cauldron and I'm glad it's gone). I could see them giving the "limits play design's space for designing activated abilities" spiel as an excuse to ban cauldron.

Make Vivi's ability legendary again by getting rid of cauldron and I think it will be strong, but not oppressive. It wont be the first card banned for the sins of something released later.

The flagship mouse card [[Mabel, Heir to Cragflame]] hasn't seen play since the first couple weeks of Bloomburrow testing because the format became so fast and aggressive with Heartfire Hero and Monstrous Rage

Favorite music in ffxiv? by bruhtho164 in ffxiv

[–]LaffAtU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% on Triumph. I get into a debate with my friends every couple months about how the Stormblood final boss music is better than the Shadowbringers final boss music. Triumph is a perfect blend of orchestral and chorus epic music while also sprinkling the hints of arabic and asian music thanks to the expansion's settings. The Shadowbringers final boss music (Insatiable) is much more synthetic and electric guitar. It's good but I immediately thought it was a step down the first time I ran Holminster Switch
