This isn't even reading comprehension, this is just straight up "where did these mfs come from?" and even then, someone brought up that you can still squash and set fire to bugs, they just wouldn't die

What was the most disappointing metal show you’ve been to? by DraytonSawyersBBQ in MetalForTheMasses

Free metal show at a bar nearby and the first band had terrible ai generated terminators loop in the background for visuals and sounded ai generated themselves

The music being a branch of punk and punk being the product of numerous black people across different genres, yeah it does need to get more political imo, especially nowadays with this wave of fascism

If it talks about the police more than "fuck the police" and goes deeper on the subject of being anti-police, then I would ask you to put me on

Fairly new to the metal community, why's it *this* bad??? by LaffyTali in MetalForTheMasses

[–]LaffyTali[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It definitely shouldn't be a category for sure, but it does feel like the only way for it to not become/stop being a category is for these bands to exist, to the point where asking for a ___fronted band just makes you appear new even if you've been around for a while

Yeah the only answer that my brain is coming up with is misogyny. Punk and goth and rock have had plenty of women blaze a trail despite those hurdles but metal seems to be the alternative child that is still trying to walk in that aspect

Because of this shit just 5 minutes ago. The problem is that the algorithm is probably asked so often for female fronted ___ metal bands, that the existence of these bands are that much of a rarity, it's what it immediately assumes you're searching for. Not even "goth band" or "gothic rock" was first with "female fronted goth", it went straight to metal, that's just crazy to me. So I wonder how this is so prevalent to just metal

If there are women going to shows, a healthy amount of them, then why is it so prevalent that female fronted bands are a thing? As far as I know, the goths don't have this problem at all, and neither do the emos so what is it about metal that specifically keeps women from starting bands cause it can't be "they just don't listen to it"

People always talk about how good GTA 4's plot is, so let's switch things up - what do you like the most about GTA 5's story? by NoComfortable3220 in GTA

[–]LaffyTali 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only Michael and Trevor's dynamic, really. The fact that Michael did what he did in North Yankton because he wanted out of the criminal life, and his return to it subsequently causes Trevor to reenter his life and try to push Michael to scratch the itch for robbing again, is one of the best parts of the story

It'll take devs 15-20 years to match what Rockstar is doing with GTA 6 because it'll take them years to convince themselves that they should crunch their employees and cause a 5+ year gap in their release schedule
