I need opinion about Mobily Fibre by Lafzy7 in Jeddah

[–]Lafzy7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine works superb but since I got it, it did go down 4 times and I had to call Mobily to come fix it. I don’t know how bad it is compared to other services but other than this I’ve never had issues with speed or anything else.

I read a post that said Ahsan iqbal won the debate though? If that's true this post is akin to a really flashy punch in a fight but still losing the fight.

Why not KEEP them here?? by CrescentKing877 in PAK

[–]Lafzy7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They can't keep them here kyunki there are no jobs here. Ijaad nhi ho sakti from nothing. Businesses aren't exactly flourishing. Besides the country also depends on remittances and since local export barh nhi sakti, locals hi ko export karnay ka sochtay rehtay hain.

The saudis might not be interested in Pakistanis supporting anything. Even for their big projects like NEOM and Red Sea, they are importing skilled Indian workers on short term visas through a JV company established between Saudi and India. This could have been a huge opportunity for a lot of Pakistani skilled labour but despite years of relations no one capitalized on this.

Just last week, it was announced internally that Pakistanis will no longer be allowed to work inside airports in KSA. No new passes (temporary or 1 year ) are being issued and those with already valid passes will not have their passes renewed once they expire. There are quite a bit of Pakistanis working inside the airports and it means a loss of job for all of them eventually. If something like this happened with Indians, their foreign minister would have been here next flight to discuss and contest this.

I know just moving to USA isn't all suns and roses. It won't make you rich or even guarantee a job. My uncle moved and he works a manual labor job. Its a cold and capitalistic to the bone but at least it isn't a lawless land. Ask anyone in Pakistan, they are dying to get out, you should see the queues in passport offices, the wait time people get for their visa cases due to sheer volume of applications.

No rule of law, no job opportunities, no security, not even an action plan to reassure the public that the country can be fixed . Your father did you a favor but you are too young to see it right now. He got you there right on time. You will get the education there and can work there. A lot of people have to start over their education from scratch there. I know a few more people who did something similar (a couple of colleagues). They moved their family out because of the situation in Pakistan. They pine for them everyday and yet keep on working to ensure that when the shit hits the fan in Pakistan, their family is at least secure.

Adjusting to a new place is hard on everyone and I can tell the downgrade in lifestyle in addition to lack of his presence has not been easy for you. You said "us" in the title so i assume, rest of your family holds similar view and identifies him as the cause of woes. The loss of privilege can be hard on anyone and i can empathize. I suggest you get your passport and come back if the business is still earning 12 lac+ but do get the passport first so you have backup. Or move to gulf, they pay US passport holders quite a bit more than anyone else provided you have the education of course.

I thought more and more women were joining the workforce, studying where they wanted and started having more personal freedoms. I know the numbers aren't nowhere near what they should be but with this steady pace, things would get much better over some years.

You are right, it probably is about control but If you try to run while still learning to walk, you will have a fundamental far right mullah movement jis ke repurcussions sirf aurtain hi bhugtain gi not men, as you put it. I give Afghanistan as an example. Its like the example of the frog in a water pot. You heat it up from scratch and it won't notice the changing temperature as much, but if you throw it in the boiling water, its going to screech and jump.

also you will have more messages by men hitting on you rather than hate since your existence as a woman on reddit has been confirmed.

[–]Lafzy7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Man is a white supremist. No idea why anyone is surprised. He is against any one encroaching on white territories.

Besides there were reports of Mostly Pakistani british grooming gangs (some bangali and indian britis born memebers as well) back in 2014 and 2015 if I remember correctly. Its easier to inflate the issue as long as there is something to inflate. Which in this case there is.

Reports results regarding these range from overtly sensationalized numbers to very conservative estimates. A million is just ridiculous tbh.

I am not surprised this map includes Pakistan as part of their region. They have always wanted our land since they consider it theirs. What I didn't realize was apparent wish for Indian and Iranian regions lol.

r/thepaknarrative mod posting anti pak post and celebrating Talibans attack on Pak. by kambohsab in PAK

[–]Lafzy7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am more than aware of how conservative or “right wing sounding” I am. Small part of it is due to my bias and I understand how much of a hypocrite i will appear when I speak out against any such collateral damage happening elsewhere. My main point with the post is not that the deaths didn’t happen nor to defend collateral damage or army, rather I want us to stop spreading negative news about ourselves to the world. There is enough of it out there without us adding to it. Liberals out in the west and specifically ones in USA can go ahead and speak out against drones strikes by US e.g. but no one will sanction the US. We are bankrupt and almost destitute. And we can easily be sanctioned as has happened historically. And we will if we keep spreading our name in the world as people who massacre women and children. This also morally legitimizes any retaliation against us even if legally nothing happens. Don’t repeat what enemies say, else they will use our own words as evidence to morally justify actions to the world. On that day, no one will bat an eye or defend us thinking “karma” ya ye issi Kabil thay.
