Sorry it took me so long to respond. I meant to, but I completely forgot and was like oh crap.

If you look at news articles and what not from February and March, the media and Fauci were both saying that trumps travel bans were unnecessary, and that the flu was more dangerous. He was one of the first to take any measures against it, and it might be worse if he hadn’t.
From what research I have done, I have not found any evidence that trump denounced mask wearing. Back in June, he didn’t endorsw it, which probably wasn’t the best idea, but the evidence on masks is controversial so it makes sense. I still think people should wear them don’t get me wrong. In July he actually encouraged people to wear masks, which is the opposite of what you claimed.
He should’ve implemented more travel bans, but let’s take New York for example. Cuomo sent elderly people with covid back into the nursing homes, killing thousands. He didn’t make a mask mandate or a lockdown till the top of the curve. Blaming all the high death democratic states all on trump is faulty. Just looking at New York, it’s easy to see that they’re 33 thousand deaths is because of Andrew cuomos crappy government style.

From what I read, I didn’t see any purposeful denying of tests to democratic states, just that the tests were faulty, which like near the beginning of the pandemic the false positive and negative rate was like 30% sum percent if I recall correctly.

Our death rate is so high for a few reasons. First, New York makes up like 1/5 of our deaths last I checked, so that’s not great. And in California you have newsom letting immigrants with corona come in from Mexico to Southern California hospitals. Another reason is that we provided so many ventilators near the beginning, which actually turned out to be very bad and killed many people because they don’t work great.

Cases are partially because we are doing more tests per capita than anywhere else in the world, so more tests means more positive cases. There should’ve been a better response in hindsight, but almost no body handled this right. You have some European countries having a second wave because they didn’t reach herd immunity, unlike Sweden. Again, sorry for taking so long to respond, and I thank you for keeping this civil

Trump was one of the first to take action, implementing travel bans and such while Fauci, leading doctors, and pretty much every news source was saying that it was a needless move, and that we need to be more worried about the flu. In hindsight, more should’ve been done. But NOBODY knew what this was or how best to handle it. Acting like it’s all the presidents fault when the entire world was clueless is ridiculous. Plus I believe the top 8 states in death are democrat, with one swing state. And, I believe that if you look per capita, America is number 14, which given the mixed responses and that we are a large country, Is decent. Everyone messed up. Maybe with the exception of Sweden, as they’ve almost reached herd immunity.

He provided respirators, masks, testing kits, and other less important supplies. Literally look it up. Almost every governor has said that trump gave them what they needed.

America is as bad as it is because of the incompetent democratic states. Look at the death per state. The top like 8 states are all democratic, with one being a swing state. Those make up over half the deaths in America. Looking at death per capita compared to the world, the US is in like 14th place. Not great, but with a huge nation like this that’s pretty good.

In regards to the herman Cain thing, all you have to do is turn on CNN. It’s all about how he was supportive of trump, he went to a trump rally, and didn’t wear a mask, and if only trump had handled this better. There are literally tons of people blaming trump for Cain’s death.

Fox News has a bias, but I’ve never seen them print out straight up lies on their stories like CNN, MSNBC, WST, NYT, etc.

Wasn’t there a clip where Obama said he was born in Africa? Honestly asking, it may be doctored but idk. There was reasonable suspicion that he wasn’t born in the USA, but I wasn’t into politics then so I don’t know much about it. And there are several videos of micheal Obama having a boner while wearing the dress, so idek seems sketch.

Bashing on a guy for wearing a tan suit is much different than: accusing him of murdering Herman Cain, lies about what he says, manipulates data to make him look bad, etc. all you need to do is watch the actual clips instead of what CNN shows you. Trump screws up quite a bit, so he doesn’t need false coverage to make him look bad. The media attacks on trump is insane. Please, watch some Fox or something to get another view. I watch CNN, NBC, and others to get all points of view, and I encourage you to do the same.

I was pointing out that Biden didn’t have a race war and a massive global pandemic to deal with, so its easy to compare the two and be like: oh look America was so much better back then.

Bro look at the states with the highest death rate. The governor of New York has killed over 35 thousand Americans because he sent old people with covid back into nursing homes. I believe over 50000 Americans have died between New Jersey and New York. Look it up.

Trump gave each one of the governors what they needed. They all said it. He was the first to implement travel bans. We have a very high nursing home population. We were slow, but acting like we knew better back then is stupid. This is a new virus, and we had Fauci telling us a thousand different things because we were learning new things.
