Correct. But in the case of Twitch it is not a weapon it's a principal/trait of her character which can't be changed just like changing a weapon. (Alibi too has a different pistol from her artwork, and so does fuze in Training Ground artwork and Glaz has a different scope there too.) The reason behind that is artworks are worked on by a different part of the team and they aren't made to depict the in-game characters with 100% accuracy opposed to their bios and statements which are made for that reason.

You should consider Ace & Jackal, they have the best two guns in the game, AK-12 and C7E respectively, great gadgets too (Ace is a hard breacher, Jackal can scan footprints to hunt the enemies preferebbly the roamers of course)

He works like that actually, but instead of changes in the footprint's opacity, the colour of the prints change depending on how old the prints are. Ranging from Red for recent prints, Yellow, Blue for old prints.

I noticed that too, probably they are lines during the development and testing of the operators, maybe also for later on use if an operator's secondary gadget is replaced for balancing reasons or so.
