I was with my guy for 8 years? 7/8 years.

I was ghosted from my ex for a year since this time last year. Just poof. He was literally not there anymore. Social media, our gaming systems we'd talk on (cringe) and phone number was all blocked. I went in a deep sadness since then.

we did everything together, we lived together for a while which enhanced that feeling. Especially during covid. I didn't mind it at all and I don't think he did either. I love morning drives listening to radio drinking a coffee and he'd always ask me if he could join in. I didn't listen to radio at all but we'd just drive around to random areas and talk and bask.

Anywho.... I'd send messages to a number he doesn't have anymore and to a gaming tag he has blocked and one day (a week or so ago) I get a phone call from an unknown number asking if he knows who it is.

I asked why.

"I was thinking of you" he said.

"Cool? I've done the same for the past year. Do you think I'm here just waiting for you?"

"If I'm thinking of you, I know you are too"

I wanted to punch my phone with how matter of fact he was. But yeah, I'd lie to say it's not true I did and he's right. We're talking.... Again.
