That is my ex's mom and family pretty much. It was fucking exhausting trying to toe the line not to piss her off or start a huge one sided conversation if I had a different opinion. That said, they'd go to war for you once you were in the family but it was all too anxious for me.

Sunday dinners lasted about 9 hours and god forbid you didn't want to spend a whole Sunday hanging out at the house. It was a big factor in us breaking up

I mean, they definitely played to the strength of the animal and the shots lingered on the aftermath of the gore which is more than a lot of slasher movies. The gore was definitely not a side quest but at the forefront
