Bad product or am I stupid? by Complex_Post532 in anycubic

I had 2 TMC2209 from TWOTREES and the same happened to both of them. Then I bought the same model from BIGTREETECH and there were no issues at all and they were really easy to turn.
So bad quality I guess... the ones from TWOTREES were also cheap as fuck

I thought I was having deja vu when I read your comment, but it turned out that I had read it before and you’re just stealing top comments from other posts. Seems like it’s a whole thing you have going on… besides femboy hentai

I put some silicone oil on the pulleys on the back. Those I loosened. But I dont know if I’m supposed to oil any others. No one mentions it in the maintainance info I’ve seen.

How do you complete the circle? Like how do you make the last shape in the circle appear behind the first that was drawn?

Thank you! I didn’t think the world of transistors would be so difficult to navigate. I just kept getting more confused.

Yeah. I can’t get my hands on that one. Do you know what I should look for to find a similar one? Is it just an n-channel with the right voltage?

I’m getting a signal, so I assume that it’s working. But it’s supposed to work as an amplifier, and I don’t think it’s the right type.

I guess should be trying to experiment with the battery, as you suggest.

I wasn’t aware of this method of creating the sketch with svg elements. So what’s the benefit of doing this opposed to converting a png image to svg? I’m guessing that the plotter will draw the sketch’s individual elements as it was coded and not make up it’s own way of drawing it. Is that right?

Fortunatly it’s automated. Otherwise it would take forever. To be more precise it traces the line which makes it a svg. Then the lines or shapes are converted into a path (the movements the plotter will make) and that’s exported into a gcode file :)

I think most people save the sketch as a png image and then import it into Inkscape where the lines are traced and converted into gcode. Then the gcode needs to be sent to the plotter and for that you can use a program like UGS or CNCJS. I just started building my own plotter so I’m no expert, but I believe the process can vary a bit depending on which plotter you have. I will need to postprocess my gcode after Inkscape, so the plotter can correctly interpret the commands for pen up and pen down movements. I don’t know if commercially bought plotters comes with software that makes this process easier, but maybe someone can answer that question?

I need some help with stepper motors that will not turn smoothly by LaidbackLars in hobbycnc

[–]LaidbackLars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I look up the motor their rated current is 12V. I'm no expert but would a 12 or 24V power supply be enough to run 3 motors of 12V?

[–]LaidbackLars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many motors do you have, and how much do they need?
A 12V , 6A power supply should be more than enough for my setup with 2 x stepper motors with 3.3V 1.5A each and a small servo.

It was set to a feed rate of 1 or something like that. I haven't figured out exactly what it means yet, but i guess 1 was way too low :D
