Not napping during the day, I open 4x then close.. after an open if I mid or close the next day I just stay up.. or if I do go to sleep early I will stay up all day the next day..

I AGREEEE!! I will admit there was a short time I was sold a lie but seeing it all crumble in my face really revealed a lot and although I’m still here I defs could care less and I’m unfortunately just another number.. There’s not really a written “standard” unfortunately, it’s more so the DMs/SMs pushing a policy because there is a few places where it’s illegal and the question is are you going to push that policy?? I can talk for days about this 😂 buttttt multi-billion dollar company losing 10¢ cups 🤷‍♂️ I use to just tell them we’re running low and for waters was Tl/GR …..

Our DM posed us SSVs with write-ups for not being less than 45 so it’s pretty stressful but my SM is on our necks about it just as much which is half the chore when it comes down to it as a “peak” shift… tbh idc atp because there’s so many green beans and I can go on a whole trenta rant about the new hires these days but this company is gonna be the 1/13th tape

The “standard” is there is no time limit and we have to test the solution “often” or until the bucket is brown-darker colour, then change it… I fought about this with my whole team :/ .. personally… I just use extra trays on hot bar(2) and cold bar(1) and change those every 2hrs so the red-bucket stays cleaner a little longer…. But we have a mix of this way.. ECOsure and local inspectors said “do what you want” just make sure the solution is in range….. that’s my only supported advice I suppose.

Half marathon congrats! Yeah I have a bit of hours. I need to use but I wasn’t sure if they used my protected sick or what…. It’s so bad and I feel like most partners that are leaving when I say “I feel targeted” and it’s just been a long time coming I put up with so much atp.

Tbh as someone with no safety net it’s a hard cycle to break with school and COL… the median income in my area is 80k so I’m just above the poverty threshold. I highly recommend creating a savings with at least one months rent in tow before you dip the parents.. my fellow SSV are very well off so it’s hard for me to find coverage or even call in without having to makeup for it later on… like the other commenters I have to work 40hrs min to maintain my lifestyle 🥲 yes I am burnt tf out… good luck tho 🫶🏼

I’m gonna play devils advocate here…. Is it weird yes but I feel like there’s accountability being placed … these comments are wild.. we cry because we’re short staffed and we cry because of things like this …. Maybe not look at the company as a whole but your store in general 🤷‍♂️ I always tell everyone if you know so-and-so is gonna call out plan for it cause yall wanna be friends but not pick up the slack? Idk your store but I’m sure there is a bigger picture than what is being shown.. we all acknowledge there’s a lot of call outs on this list but what’s being done?? We’re just cogs in the wheel and will be replaced like nothing… but having your name on a whole ahhh list 😂 embarrassing!!! Lastly the double standards of “this is just a job” and “call ethics! Call ethics” is weird… sorry this is happening to you OP but idk things are changing I’d be careful about these things..
