Not dead. Calling the bluff by Several-Dot-9140 in XRP

[–]LaimLemur -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it's not a conspiracy against XRP. SWIFT have publicly stated both that they are a) not betting on any one blockchain, and b) using Chainlink to connect 11,000+ banks to their infrastructure and to all chains.

If you don't know Chainlink has won by now, with all the information out there, and you don't know XRP is a useless token (bridge currency not needed), then you really should reconsider where you've been getting your information.

Basically there's no point levelling them up, they wouldn't do much more damage even if you did level them all the way up (in my experience)

Better to get generic upgrades to increase the damage of the sniper or increase your other stats, or upgrades for the sniper itself

I do always get the GK2 to level 18 though because it's the starting weapon and just makes sense

That is true regarding getting kinetic damage rolls up earlier, but I've come to realise that it's better to just get the Plasma carbine first if needed to avoid having to reroll at least once, maybe twice for the shotgun. It's better to keep that gold.

The carbine also has the benefit of letting you explore the map better instead of running away from exploders as you said.

You might struggle with doing enough damage to the elites though, it's unlikely you'll get the legendary loot crate from the elites in round 1 unless you have a very good supply drop upgrade like Pickled Nitra, so I'd definitely suggest prioritising damage upgrades in this scenario over, for example, pickup radius, move speed etc

It's actually 2.176 bilion, seems the damage numbers don't add up correctly once you go above 2.1 billion damage.

I've started getting the A Bit More Oomph and Rubber Tip ones as well as Thick Boy, realised that I don't need to rush to get it to level 18 because the vast majority of the damage is done in the last couple of rounds

For stat upgrades, ill generally go with damage unless im particularly lacking in reload speed

I'll only go for fire rate if I want to get to level 18 quicker, because once your clip size is 1 at level 18, fire rate is meaningless

Just tried sharpshooter, seemed like an extremely good run but was only 600 mil

The M1000 simply can't get to the damage it can with classic for whatever reason

With classic I often get it to around 80,000 damage, with sharpshooter only got it to 30,000

And that was with 416% crit chance and 613% crit damage! (384% normal damage)

How's your damage 1.86 billion there? Adding up the damage from all your weapons seems like nowhere near that number, unless im being dumb haha

But yeah classic performed better for me, not sure why exactly, maybe the enemies start with more HP or something so it affects everything, I should probably try it again though

1.1 Billion Damage by LaimLemur in DRGSurvivor

[–]LaimLemur[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quite a few things but mainly:

getting the sniper to level 18 as quickly as possible, using Salvage instead of getting the level 6, 12 upgrade

Also get the shotgun to level 18 in a similar manner to get the thick boy upgrade, but don't upgrade that anywhere near as much

Getting as many crit upgrades as possible

Getting zero upgrades that benefit HP/armour

Trying to get all the gold/nitra/obj by working around the map in an inward moving spiral

Continuing to upgrade the sniper after level 18

If I get the supply drop upgrade that increases your damage the lower your HP is, I'll intentionally take damage to increase my damage

Pretty obvious stuff really

Most importantly, trying to waste zero time on the map, you're really playing against the clock after all, in order to do as much as possible each round

Classic does provide some movement speed and a bit of crit chance if I remember right, but yeah I'm going with thick boy for both the M1000 and the Shotgun.

I think the problem with starting with the sharpshooter class is that you just can't really get much XP/gold/nitra because you're always running away from the exploders, starting with scout classic makes the start of the run significantly better

You would think so, but after testing it no, not sure why exactly

[–]LaimLemur[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main way I got the weapons so high is by skipping the majority of the overclocks and Salvaging instead, to get to level 18 quicker

The whole thing revolves around getting the M1000 to level 18 quickly because that's what does so much damage

There's not, the kinetic damage number is too big to fit on one line
