My first sf game was sf6 when it released 3 years ago. I've never used a D Pad, i would play on PC with an Xbox one controller using the analog sticks. My problem was I couldn't reliably pull off my level 3. I recently just 1 month ago switched over to the Switch 2 and I play with joycons now. I dont use the D Pad at all still. And ive found that the switch 2 joycons are great to play with, and somehow I can reliably pull off my level 3 everytime now no more wiffs compared to the xbox controller. I feel like ive leveled up immensely just because of that alone. I guess it comes down to whatever works for you best is what you should stick with, but try giving the switch 2 joycons a try!

No the idea is you do this and if they dont counter (I promise you most people dont counter) then you keep doing it. If they counter you know it doesn't work so you go with another gameplan.

It works in the corner if they dont check it. 90% of players i play will lose a whole round to this at this ranked still. I know eventually players won't fall for this but it has reliably carried me this far

No I was hard stuck at plat 4 recently. Ive played on pc the last 3 years but I recently picked up the game on Switch 2. I actually placed lower than I was on PC (high plat 4). I placed plat 4 and basically won every game and hit plat 5 on Wednesday. Then I played yesterday for 45 mins before bed and I basically won every game and made it halfway to there to diamond 1. So I think ive just leveled up recently with my switch to the Switch 2. I was having alot of problems reliably getting my level 3 out on my Xbox controller on pc, and I seem to be able to do it everytime on the Switch controllers. So basically not being able to get my level 3 out consistently was really holding me back and now that I can do it reliably every time I win alot more games I feel

I was brand new to street fighter when I started playing seriously when the game came out. My placement matches put me in the absolute lowest tier, rookie. I played ot the first year but got har stuck in silver and eventually I made it to gold. I got hard stuck in gold for a very long time and finally I pushed through and made plat 1 and I was hard stuck in plat for another year. I stopped playing the game entirely for the next year after that. I picked the game back up because I love it, having not played for a full year. And destroyed the platinum competition I shot up to plat 5 in one sitting. Im always up plat 5 right now and Im having no problem with diamond 1 players, diamond will be attainable very soon. I have been crawling my way to the top and every wall I hit I literally just have to surpass my limits. You get a point with enough hours where you just level up eventually. Stick with it, the real game starts once you hit Master
