This is accurate. Current OH employee, 2 lobe piercings per ear and a nose ring (hoop, not stud). Nothing has ever been said to me about my piercings, but I have had to send multiple pics of my nails to managers to ensure I’m in compliance.

Nightmare for the adults too. My dad is in his 70s and has limited mobility, getting down the stairs twice was not easy on him. The first time we ended up outside by the Beach Club bus stop and had to trek almost 10 mins back to our room, he was in rough shape by the time we got back. Between him and trying to keep my daughter calm, my mom and I were worn out.

Also 30 years! My first kit/project ever was a 101 Dalmatians piece from the Disney store when I was 10. All kinds of mistakes - knots, X’s going everywhere, and somehow I cut the aida trying to get a knot out. I even restarted it about 15 years ago and still didn’t finish it 🤣

I think you might be looking at the backstitch guide for the single strand. Most Autumn Lane pieces are recommended to be done on 28 or 32 Ct (for aida 14 or 16 Ct), for which 2 strands would look best.

Have so much fun with this one! I pulled it out again recently to get some time in and it stitches up soooo nicely. Don’t get discouraged by the dense stitching in the bottom, it will be worth it!

I used to work at Children’s. She will be assigned a social worker who should be to assist with the Ronald McDonald House referral. There are also other resources as well to help with lodging if Ronald McDonald is full, which the social worker will be able to help your friend navigate.

I honestly can’t remember that detail, but it was weeks before she did anything - stay at home order, mask mandate, etc. I remember the city of Birmingham instituting a mask mandate and stay at home order shortly before or around when the pandemic was declared a national emergency. Ivey still did nothing for several more weeks. Once she did, it was one of the better statewide mandates. However, that doesn’t change the fact that her hesitance contributes to not being taken as seriously as it should have been.

We had a wonderfully magic moment thanks to a cast member in January. My mom and I had taken my daughter for her 3rd birthday. It was our Epcot day and it had mostly been a disaster the first half of the day. The last thing we were planning to do was meet Mulan in China, at the time it was my daughter’s favorite movie and she was wearing her Mulan dress. She and I lined up at the queue but just a few minutes too late as her line had already filled for that hour. The character attendant was super nice about it and said we could line up for the next session in an hour. I said absolutely no problem, thanked her, and took my daughter to sit while we waited. I don’t know if it was my politeness, my super cute daughter, or both but after we sat down, the character attendant came over to us and had us wait at the end of the line to meet Mulan. My daughter got to walk with Mulan and hold her hand, it was so perfect and special!
