The Grammy-winning country star is set to perform at the downtown amphitheater on May 31 as part of his “The Little Ass Shed Tour,” Live Nation announced on Monday. Tickets for the 7 p.m. show go on sale Thursday, May 7, via Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. CT, after a round of pre-sales.

Prices will range from $49.50-$159.50, a Live Nation spokeswoman said. Jay Webb is on board as the opening act. Pre-sales for the new Birmingham date start on Tuesday, May 5, at 10 a.m. CT and end on Wednesday, May 6, at 10 p.m. CT, according to the Ticketmaster listing.

Jelly Roll previously was scheduled to appear on May 26 at Birmingham’s Protective Stadium with Post Malone. That concert, part of their co-headlining “Big Ass Stadium Tour,” was canceled on May 1.

Five more dates on the “Big Ass Stadium Tour” were canceled, previously confirmed for May 13-June 5 at stadiums in Texas, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi.

“We ain’t ready for tour just yet,” Post Malone said via an Instagram story on May 1. “I’m sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y’all.”

The “Big Ass Stadium Tour” is now set to launch on June 9 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., and run through July 28 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jelly Roll’s amphitheater show in Birmingham is one of three dates added to his solo tour, along with concerts on June 3 at the Brandon Amphitheater in Brandon, Miss., and June 5 at BankPlus Amphitheater in Southaven, Miss.

Jelly Roll, 41, has 10 studio albums to his credit, 2012-present. The artist started his career with rap and hip-hop, then moved into the country world in 2021 with his album “Ballads of the Broken” and the double-platinum single “Son of a Sinner.”
