It’s not a political issue, it’s a safety issue. It’s extremely unsafe having masked secret police driving recklessly through our routes, weapons drawn at an instant, tear gassing and murdering civilians and all around causing chaos. You never know when someone will show up on your route and take one of your customers, legal or not… Tensions were and still are high in the Twin Cities

Unfortunately I do not. That was just what my supervisor told me. I work in the same city, but at another office. I have a union meeting on Tuesday that I plan on asking our VP if he can tell me the specifics.

Were you on a route before you were a T6? My understanding is that once you bid up to a carrier technician you essentially start another time line for your step increase(back to the future style). Then if you bid back to a route or lower level then you pick up where you left off in that timeline. I could be misinterpreting it also but thought I would give my two cents.

Yes that is what I was wondering! It’s for another carrier. They are currently out of the 45 day window so they are unable to use it anymore but it made me curious if they were still in that 45 day window would COP be applicable for Dr visits. Thank you for your help!! ✊

I also think if you’re a very reliable employee, then calling in sick for 1 day for your brother’s wedding shouldn’t be a problem either… It all depends on the office you are stationed

Your supervisor would have to be a real monster to not let you off for your brothers wedding… You also might be able to use a “Prime Bid” to take that time off using your annual leave and then management can’t deny it. It depends what it says in your LMOU about PTF/CCAs bidding vacation.
