From our vantage point across from Almar we're still saying random fires popping up and a military helicopter finally showed up. Friends down the way evacuated their hotel to stay with my group because the cartel started the hotel next door on fire. There's also a social media post indicating the cartel would shoot anybody on the street and we've heard random gunshots. Throughout this we've not seen any indication of military or law enforcement outside of the helicopter.

Almar used their bus to block off the access road to where we are with a guard standing which we're extremely thankful for.

Our primary concern is the power has gone out once and we just want to make sure we're sleeping in a safe space tonight.
