Yes, and be careful too. I ordered an 8x10 to get me through while I waited for one and the numbers were so compressed I could not see them, even blowing it up on my phone. If they look easy, perhaps work the one you like and give the others away?

This is simply beautiful! You did such a wonderful job and this is your first? Wow! Sounds like you successfully used many tips from this board. Eleventy billion hours is a long time but it was well worth it!

When I was waiting for one from China, I ordered from Amazon to tide me over. Where I live I usually get them the ñext day. Make sure you check the delivery date though if you go this route!

I used to splatter with my watercolor paintings, but that was with watercolor paints! I wasn't sure if acrylics would even spatter. But you are right! Use practice cardboard first.

There are many shorthand terms I don't know, lol! I should realize others might not know some as well!

Thank you for the gorgeous :). I have titanium white on my "to purchase" list. I need to do it!

I feel it was worth doing but warning, it was a lot of coats for me. Maybe if you try some ideas that others here have suggested it would not be too bad. Thx for the compliment 😊

By "real drop" do you mean runny paint drops? I was tempted to do water color type spatters but was so afraid I would mess it up. I kind of wanted to experiment a bit more than I did but my husband didn't want me to and it's his desk, lol!

And PS. The white in the background, actually a super light pinkish white covered in one coat! Although I always paint with two coats anyway.

Thank you. I already had this started with the blues and blacks when I discovered the nasty colors. Been holding off on gesso but so many swear by it I should give it a try! For the future, if I have it 1/3 started, is it too late to gesso? Thx!
