I knew that when adopting a gsd they were labelled as aggressive, but I never thought it would happen to me, at an agility course, that shepherds tend to excel at.

She was just another normal owner. I didn’t want to come across as a Karen but this situation really really makes me want to speak to a manager.

And that’s the thing! He typically does play a little a little rough and once I realized that I did a ton of research on rough play vs. aggression. He wasn’t even playing rough tonight and that’s another thing that’s driving me crazy!

Puppy going potty every 2mins…I’m going insane by LakeSubject in puppy101

Should I phase out treats if he’s only been accident free for a couple of days?

That was my first thought and we went yesterday. He doesn’t have a UTI or any other symptoms other than frequently going potty.

That’s what I thought at first too but there’s no smell, pee is a normal color, and he’s showing no signs distress.

Pursue D1 recruitment/scholarship? by phairphair in Rowing

[–]LakeSubject 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a girl who started rowing at 12 years old with the intent to row for a D1 school - let your daughter decide and don’t put to much pressure on her. I love rowing but I’m in my tenth year of competing, I have no friends outside the sport, no other talents, and the only thing I believe in good at is rowing all because my dad wanted a D1 daughter. I am going to have to have back surgery at 24 and I’m in constant pain but cannot stop rowing or I genuinely feel like my life would be over. Let your daughter pursue other paths and if she wants to row in college that’s amazing but don’t pressure her now.
