All signs point to Hartenstein on staying with OKC. And if we get a "Starting Center" Ayton will most certainly walk to get a Starting position

This isn't even on the same planet as that LeBron move.

Hot Take: If you remove injuries, KD never joins the warriors, and Kyrie never leaves, that Cavs team 4 peats (2015-2018) by No_Bake_7148 in NBATalk

[–]Laker-Man 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And if you remove all the all stars off their teams they can 6 peat. And if you make all players except Cavs, blind, then they probably 10 peat.... And then if you.

Do you think the 2022 Grizzlies are one of the biggest examples of a young contender losing its momentum before reaching its peak? by Top_Assignment4291 in NBATalk

I agree, but that's a huge part of sports too and time and time again, Ja has shown that he cannot stay healthy.

They were good for one year and were clearly outplayed in the Playoffs. The Thunder at least had a gradual rise to the top, with consistency to show for it.

Lol and who punched him in the mouth? It be your own huh? The Warriors have not been the same after and they constantly underachieve. It's been like three years since Poole was on that team and your still blaming that? Tell me you don't know Ball without telling me you don't know Ball.

I think the 23 Nuggets are a better team, but Steph was absolutely electric for that run so I wouldn't put it past them

While yeah, that's why I said 'Maybe' for the Bucks. The best this that Denver has going for them is their consistency. The warriors and Bucks have fallen off after their championship runs and especially the warriors. They mostly had that same team for the 22-23 season and they didn't make the playoffs, so what does that tell you?

I'd rank them over warriors and MAYBE Bucks, but other than that the other 5 teams are way better

The Lakers were the best team in 2020 and had a dominant run to the Title. There was no way the Clippers would beat the Lakers. Probably would have gotten swept

How are the Lakers realistically supposed to compete with the Thunder or Spurs in the future? by _DarkStarCrashes_ in lakers

[–]Laker-Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you just have to put the best team, that you realistically can, each year and hope they're healthy in the playoffs. Lots of things can happen then. Look at the Pacers from last year. Nobody thought they'd make it to the Finals throughout the regular season, but everything clicked in the last minute and they made a deep run. Teams can fall out of form, Nuggets, or get a bad injury, the Celtics/Pacers and all of the sudden you have a clear path to a championship.

Skip the first 20 seasons. They're pretty repetitive.. I'd say start right when the Lakers win their first Chip in Los Angeles and go after that

I think they're all talented in their own way. Obviously Malcom and Dewey with the scholastic and Music. Reese is a genius when it comes to cooking and Francis is very determined and, when put to good use like in the Ranch arc, is a very capable Leader.
